I never really thought about the Sabbath in that way, scripture is clear that the Sabbath is meant to honor the Lord but is a gift to God's people.

Immerse Bible Reading "Beginnings" week 1 day 5.

Jacob and Esau, Jacob ends up with the blessing God has promised to give Abraham and his decedents. I don't like at all how he goes about it, but I love the tenacity. The drive and desire to want to be blessed.
