  • Presidents Cup Preview: Scheffler’s Match Play Problem & Team USA’s New Stars
On On the Tee, Gabe Neitzel and Stephen Watson go all-in on the Presidents Cup after Stephen spends the day on the ground at Medinah. He breaks down the redesigned course and the pairings Team USA appears to be building, including Scottie Scheffler with Sam Burns, Xander Schauffele with Patrick Cantlay and an intriguing veteran-rookie combination of Justin Thomas and 21-year-old Jackson Koivun.
Stephen also goes one-on-one with Scottie Scheffler, and his answer about match play sends Gabe into orbit. Scheffler says the differences between match play and stroke play can be overblown, but Gabe points to his underwhelming record in international team competition and argues that treating match play like ordinary stroke play might be part of the problem. Cameron Young provides the opposite energy, fully embracing Team USA’s status as the heavy favorite and declaring that the Americans have earned it.
Plus, the guys discuss J.J. Spaun being left off Team USA, rookie karaoke night and their picks for the Americans’ leading point-getter. Then USGA championship director Kevin Fullenkamp joins the show to preview the U.S. Mid-Am at The Lido and Sand Valley, explain what makes The Lido such a unique championship venue and why Wisconsin continues to become one of the USGA’s favorite destinations.

  • Brewers Built a Baseball Machine & Is THIS Finally the World Series Team?
The Homer Hour is live from American Family Field for the Rally for October as Homer and Jerry Augustine celebrate a Brewers organization headed to the postseason for the eighth time in nine years and coming off its fourth consecutive NL Central championship. Augustine explains how Milwaukee has built one of baseball’s premier organizations through player development, pitching infrastructure and finding players who fit the culture, with Jacob Misiorowski serving as a perfect example of how the Brewers turn raw talent into polished major-league pitching.
Then Homer is joined by Brewers fan favorites Corey Hart and Jeff Jenkins to ask the big October question: is this Milwaukee’s best opportunity to reach the World Series since 1982? Hart and Jenkins explain why this Brewers team feels different from some of their own playoff clubs, praising the organization’s ability to continually replace departing stars, develop young players and create a clubhouse where everyone embraces their role. Jenkins also compares the current Brewers’ chemistry to the 2008 Phillies team he won a World Series with.
Plus, Hart and Jenkins explain what changes once October arrives and why Milwaukee’s biggest challenge may be resisting the urge to change anything at all. Jenkins says “every pitch is an event” in the postseason, while Hart believes the Brewers need to stay within themselves instead of chasing power or trying to become a different team. Their formula is simple: keep playing the same brand of baseball that got them here.

  • 2PM: Packers Lose Zach Bako-Bewele, Jordan Love Is in Danger & Brewers World Series Expectations Rise
The 2PM hour of Kyle & Brust starts outside American Family Field with postseason baseball in the air and a debate over what would hurt Brewers fans more: another NLCS loss to the Dodgers or finally reaching the World Series and falling short there. Kyle and Ben argue that simply getting back to the World Series for the first time since 1982 would be a massive step forward for Milwaukee, no matter how it ended.
Then the mood flips when the Packers’ offensive-line situation gets even worse. Zach Tom is out for the season with a torn patellar tendon, leaving Green Bay scrambling for answers up front. Kyle and Ben question what Brian Gutekunst can realistically do this early in the season, whether the Packers need to dip into free agency for veteran help and, most importantly, whether Jordan Love can physically survive 17 games behind this line.
The guys also ask whether Green Bay can overcome the offensive line by leaning harder on its defense and special teams. Kyle sees almost no internal solution beyond hoping a young group develops together, while Caleb Johnson’s emergence gives them at least one possible way to stabilize the offense on the ground. Plus, Ben gets the last laugh on ESPN Chicago by sending three “hammy sandwiches,” tissues, string cheese and Icy Hot after the Bears followed their 59-point opener with just three points.

  • 3PM: NFL Execs Say the Packers Are “Broken” & Is the Super Bowl Window Closing?
The 3PM hour of Kyle & Brust reacts to anonymous NFL executives questioning what exactly is wrong with Green Bay. One executive describes the Packers as “broken,” while another wonders why an offense with this much talent isn't scoring more points. Kyle struggles to disagree after watching the same late-game problems continue and says he needs to see Green Bay put together a complete four-quarter performance before believing things have truly changed.
Mark Tauscher joins the show after Zach Tom’s season-ending injury to explain why there probably isn’t a magic external fix for the offensive line. Tausch believes Green Bay has to develop the players it already has, with Jagger Burton, Jordan Morgan and Sean Rhyan all needing to improve as the season progresses. He also explains why Matt LaFleur’s conservative approach against the Jets made sense given the circumstances, even if he didn’t love the actual play calls.
But Tausch’s answer leaves Kyle even more concerned about the bigger picture. If the solution is simply hoping this young offensive line develops, Kyle questions whether 2026 can realistically be the Packers’ year and worries Green Bay could waste another season of Jordan Love’s prime. The guys still see reasons for optimism in the defense, Micah Parsons’ eventual return and Green Bay’s receiving weapons, but everything now hinges on whether the offensive line can become functional enough to keep Love upright.
