I do not own the rights to this music, but I own the rights to my SCENES IN LIFE, which happens to be the title of todays podcast:  When You Are On the Scene, (of life), God is Behind the Scenes

Question: Do you feel like your scenes in life, has been cancelled, cut, or put on repeat?

I have many times, but I keep waking up to the same Director, Producer, and Writer. Who are they you ask? Well that would be God the director, Jesus as the producer, and the Holy Spirit yep, the writer of course, writing the scripts and setting the scenes in my life, hopefully in yours too after listening and receiving what He is trying to reveal to you.

The producer Jesus Christ, paid the cost, and sometimes allows us to be one of the executive producers. Isn't that wonderful!!!

When I am scratching my head, asking myself why am I here, or how am I even?
This quote comes to mind, by Friedrich Nietzsche, "He who has a why to live for can bear with almost any how".

For example, after Ruth's husband died, she probably asked that question, but instead chose to go with her mother-in-law.  But God the director was working behind the senses. In Ruth 2:16, Boaz was the director and producer, giving a directive to his crew to allow Ruth glean or gather up more resources than the others in the marketplace.

Yeah, I hear you saying, what about the storms of life that just keeps on coming, right I think about them too, but I crawl out of bed, thinking whether someone or something is going to prevent my director, producer, and writer from saying ACTION,  CUT, or TAKE TWO.  But if your eyes are open,  you have a script and you are required to be on set, and GOD IS BEHIND THE SCENES!
We have to trust God and our heart! There is another quote from Josiah Gilbert Holland that makes me happy. He says, " The heart is wiser than the intellect." Therefore, bet on RED, your heart.

Also, in the good book, Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and ..when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned or scorched."

As you can tell by the dates, it has been a minute since writing anything down on paper, because my life has been crazy. Three months before my birthday, I have avoided eviction, failing two vital courses, and having a stoke due to stress and anxiety. But the good new is I got approved for affordable housing, because I am considered elderly.  Driving to my new place called Hewgley Terrace was similar to my mom's place in Atlanta off Auburn Avenue.

Question: How many of us feel like giving up?

There are many reasons to give up, but I can think of a couple more for you to "look up" and hang on in there!

Restoration normally, comes when we have one leg in the pit and the other one in the air.

I Kings 17:7 (NIV) Sometimes later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land.”

Yesterday, was Mother's Day and I (we) were all decked out in  designer clothes, handbags, and shoes right,  however God's goal for my life and yours is to be covered in designer 'character", such as virtue, vision, value, and mission.  The Holy Spirit whispered, you look lovely Donna but I want you to feel this way everyday from the inside out!

Ephesians 4:22-24 (The Message), “Take on an entirely new way of life-a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you.”

 When we wear these "designer" virtues, values, and visions it makes our mission earier to restore our sisters and brothers who think we are "stuck up" or so high minded that we are no earthly good....

Galatians 6:1, “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sing, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.”

Also, I heard L.U.C.K stood for Living Under Christ Kindness!

What say Ye, let's have a "No giving up party", today and everyday by helping someone else with whatever you have available.

With todays Daily Faith Walk, episode  entitled, " HIT THE GAS IT'S TIME TO ACCELERATE!

Question:  Is it just me or do you feel like someone let the GAS OUT of your tank of LIFE?
No worries, SEE in the book of John 2:9-10 (NLT), it says, "When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine...he called the bridegroom over. " A host always serves the best wine first," he said..."but you have kept the best until NOW!

That is exactly what the Holy Spirit is whispering to US, HIT THE GAS NOW!

Therefore, we should thank our PAST & PRESENT for the DECOR  of our FUTURE, in which we are to HIT THE GAS, BECAUSE IT'S TIME TO ACCELERATE!

Back to John 2: 9-10, it was the first miracle Jesus did, but it was NOT the last, so let US HIT THE GAS!!
I love this quote by Coco Chanel, who grew up in an orphanage, I can only imagine the many, many times she had to talk, and encourage herself.

Question: What was your most courageous act?

Mine was escaping  an abusive relationship, riding the greyhound bus from Atlanta, Ga to Tulsa, Ok.
We have to also, quit saying, " I have to find myself", but let's take action with a quote from George Bernard Shaw-- "Life is not about FINDING yourself, LIFE IS ABOUT CREATING YOURSELF.
Once you do that the Holy Spirit, has permission from you to accelerate what may have taken you twenty years (20) to accomplish, and BOOM in an instant the dream or goal with manifest. Keep asking, seeking, and knocking according to Matthew 7:7-8.

GOD KNOWS HOW TO HIT THE GAS OF ACCELERATION IN YOUR LIFE, so let's do it REAL BIG!!!

            Awaiting LaToya’s return of my car, thinking how many more birthdays I will miss, my big brothers’ birthday was yesterday, and the oldest sibling day is approaching on the 29th. This routine was wearing me out, but I was taught as a Christian and human being we should have compassion for people who were in the same predicament I was in just a few months earlier.

            I was two months behind on my rent, and utility bills, driving around without any license, everything was coming down on me so quickly, except for my blood pressure. I had to do something fast, so I prayed for a miracle, really, I needed a divine intervention like ASAP. Zach had already paid last month rent and helped a cable bill, plus not to mentioned paid for a couple of books that I needed for the semester. Thank God for the friends around me that were responsible because I sure was not.

QUOTE: “You can start late, look different, be uncertain, and still succeed.” By Misty Copeland- in 2015, ballet dancer Misty Copeland became the first Black woman to be made “principal dancer” for the American Ballet Theatre, starting to study ballet at the as of 13 which was considered late!!!

QUOTE: “A company is only as good as the people it keeps” by Mary Kay Ash, Cosmetics entrepreneur since 1963 setting out to create more opportunities for women to support themselves, building a billion-dollar empire.

That quote gives me goosebumps, because we are ONLY as successful or impactful, and significant when we KEEP THE RIGHT COMPANY and the right MINDSET!!
