Daily Faith Walk

Morning, afternoon, evening whatever the case maybe. Todays DAILY FAITH WALK deals with a "spiritual" 4-way stop sign in life, instead of the S.T.O.P. we have the T.S.P.G.

The 4 Ways the Holy Spirit guides Us:

1st with guiding us to Truth,  the truth about who we really are, 2nd if the Holy Spirit is guiding us to Truth, then He is leading us away from something, and that is Sin, Acts 2:38 tells us to repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

3rd when WE make room for our gift we find talents and abilities to help others and that is Purpose, finally once we discover our purpose it is time to put God's will in motion, which is the RESTORATION OF MAN-KIND.

Spirit Help Note:
John 16:13, "However, when He the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth...".

Galatians 5:16, " I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh".

Luke 4:18, " The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel ….".
Psalm 143:10, "Teach me to do Your will, for you are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness".

Remember, you are never alone. The Holy Spirit (3rd Godhead) is always willing and able to help and guide you! He is three (3) in (1) within you: Advocate, Helper, and Comforter!

Walking by faith and not by sight, hearing what our faith ears, what the Holy Spirit is saying, seeing with our faith eyes, where the Holy Spirit takes and saws us. Touching and agreeing (Matthew 18:18-19) with other believers until it comes to path. Calling those things that be not, as though they were and in God's "perfect timing" they will BE!

Who would have thought a student’s life would be so busy? I have not written in my journal in about a month, but the faith walk continues. I will start on my night job at the church, which is right across the street from my dorm on campus in a week or so once the background check returns. But I have been doing some research on how to edit, market, and self-publish my book, plus God has placed a non-profit idea in my spirit. Boy, the Holy Spirit has a lot of confidence in this old black lady, I just hope I can live up to the hype. It is amazing the faith that God has in us, and the lack of faith we have in ourselves.

2 Peter 2:9, "The rescues of Noah and Lot demonstrate the fact that God/Yahweh  preserves committed believers in the midst of evil circumstances, while the destruction of evildoers demonstrates His punishment, to be pronounced in finality at the day of judgement.

Who would have thought a student’s life would be so busy? I have not written in my journal in about a month, but the faith walk continues. I will start on my night job at the church, which is right across the street from my dorm on campus in a week or so once the background check returns. But I have been doing some research on how to edit, market, and self-publish my book, plus God has placed a non-profit idea in my spirit. Chapter 5: LET GO AND LET GOD

"One positive thought produces millions of positive vibrations", a quote from John Coltrane, seems appropriate for one of the nine prayer request I had up in my prayer closet, which I called a "a war room". Two of them had already been answered. One to attend ORU, and the other was to see my father in Chicago. While packing for the trip, I was happy to see my auntie again since our first encounter as brief at the Atlanta greyhound bus station.

Nerve about meeting my father for the second time, (first was at 3 years old) at age 49 in a hospital was not ideal, but hey I will take it because I lose my mother in 2007.

Feelings of inadequacy since age three,  growing up without a father figure and having brothers and sisters with different fathers, but no of them in our lives was very emotionally. So you could only imagine the hesitation of trusting someone or a higher power for that matter with the name and responsibility of Heavenly Father.

Now, the prayer wall served as a way of keeping me in check, that God was in control, and I became more of a "whole person" able to love and be loved. Difficulties and hardships didn't devastate me as much, because I was able to Let go and let God handle them with confidence.

Spirit Help Note:
The process of letting go and letting God, means to look away form , and give your  UNDIVIDED attention to GOD only, and looking away from all distractions, while keeping the main thing the main thang.

I was laying in bed about to start recording another episode for my podcast, "Daily Faith Walk", when the Holy Spirit whispered, No, no no no no like the former Atlanta Hawks basketball player Mutombo. 
Please do not get in a traditional or route way of delivering my Super national messages. I want you to be flexible. Like a sponge in my hand, you know where you are washing dishes and you take the sponge and you take the dishwashing liquid and you put the dishwashing liquid  on the sponge and then you rub the dish. You don't have a new plate you have a CLEAN slate.
You have a new day, with new ideas, with witty inventions, and wonderful words of encouragement from the Holy Spirit, to admonish (advise or urge someone) earnestly, and validate other people that need it.
Therefore, someone needs to now today that the past is the past, the present is temporal and subject to change and the future is NOW, meaning from Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things unseen.

During that time I was without transportation, I'll say from 2009 up until December of 2012. The Holy Spirit gave me a R.E.S.T. or a (acronym) for revelation, education, spiritual stimulation (encouragement of something to make it  develop or become more active) for transformation about the past, present, and future, really how to operate and handle those times in our lives.
So picture me at the bus stop, looking at my surrounding, of a not so safe environment, the enemy hit with a movie trailer of "past" failures.  Let me back up to two weeks prior. There was a young lady in one of my classes who mentioned she was selling her old car and buying a new one. Later in the week she indicated that her aunt was interested in purchasing it, so I forgot about it. Time went on a week or so later we were in chapel, which was mandatory on Wednesdays and Fridays. She yelled out in the ladies room, Ms. Donna do you still need a car? I replied yes I do, after the chapel service we discuss how much, and when I could pick up the 2000 Chevy Caviler,(no A C) the decision was made for us to meet on campus, with the bill of sale stating that I would pay her $400 dollars now, have insurance coverage and give her the remaining balance of $200 dollars on or before February 1, 2013. Now back to the acronym R.E.S.T, the past is the past, you can't do anything about getting pregnant at 17, divorcing your ex husband when he was 25 and leaving your son at age 4, today is the present (standing at the bus stop) it's temporal and subject to change, and I say change because you are standing at the bus stop with no car, you are about to go to a point and pick up your car, that's when faith comes, that's the future, and the future is the position, the posture I want you in for eternity as you WALK WITH ME. So the past is the past, the present is temporal subject to change, and the future faith is NOW. That's were the R.E.S.T comes in at Hebrews 11:1, " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for(the substance and things hoped for is the car, better health, whatever you are hoping for), the evidence of things unseen. But when you stay in faith and stay in the future you see them, and remember without faith it is impossible to please Him.
