Ella Langley hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Choosin’ Texas,” her first chart-topper and the first by a woman to simultaneously lead the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts. The Miranda Lambert collaboration previews Langley’s upcoming album Dandelion.


Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show triggered a massive streaming spike, with Spotify streams up 470% in the U.S. and 210% globally. Guests Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga also saw boosts, including a 145% jump for Martin.


The Ex-Faces, featuring former Mushroomhead members, expanded to seven with bassist Jack “Pig Benis” Kilcoyne, bringing both Kilcoyne brothers into the lineup and creating a near-complete classic-era reunion. Founder Jeff Hatrix says he will not join the project.


Chappell Roan has exited Wasserman Agency after reports linking founder Casey Wasserman to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Roan cited accountability and personal standards, following similar criticism from other artists.


Jonny Greenwood and director Paul Thomas Anderson are seeking removal of Greenwood’s Phantom Thread track “Barbara Rose” from a Melania documentary, saying Universal used the music without consent and breached his composer agreement.


Legendary metal label Combat Records will relaunch in 2026 under new owners Robert Dujmusic and Alex Stojak, focusing on new releases from established acts and emerging underground bands.


Rick Wakeman and Griff Rhys Jones debut a new weekly podcast, The Sound Of The Seventy Year Olds, on February 27, reflecting on life, culture, and events from the 1960s to today.
