BTS will reunite for a live comeback special, BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang, and a documentary, BTS: The Return, both premiering on Netflix in March. The live event marks the first global livestream from Korea celebrating their fifth studio album, while the Bao Nguyen–directed film traces the group’s rise and reunion.


Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show announcement drew criticism from right-wing commentators and President Trump. Turning Point USA responded by announcing a counterprogram featuring Jason Aldean, Jason Barrett, Kane Brown, and Kid Rock.


Kelly Clarkson announced The Kelly Clarkson Show will end after its current season to prioritize time with her children. Since its 2019 debut, the show earned 24 Daytime Emmys and averages about 1.2 million same-day viewers.


Josie Scott of Australian metal band The Mark of Cain came out as a trans woman, saying younger trans people inspired her to live authentically. She confirmed her transition will not affect the band’s music or performances.


Minneapolis’ Orpheum Theatre revealed its 2026–27 musical lineup, running October through July, including The Sound of Music, Hadestown, Hell’s Kitchen, Operation Mincemeat, The Outsiders, and Maybe Happy Ending.


Chuck Negron, founding member and lead singer of Three Dog Night, died at 83. Known for “Joy to the World” and “One,” he later became an advocate for addiction recovery and hepatitis awareness.


• Netflix’s The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers premieres March 20, focusing on the band’s early years and original guitarist Hillel Slovak. The film centers on Slovak’s legacy rather than a full band history.


• President Trump announced a planned two-year closure of the Kennedy Center for major reconstruction, sparking backlash and legal questions from critics over funding, authority, and transparency.


• KISS’s “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” music video surpassed one billion YouTube views. Released in 1979, the disco-leaning hit remains one of the band’s most successful and debated songs.
