Lollapalooza 2025 kicks off today in Chicago’s Grant Park and runs through August 3, featuring headliners Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler the Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, Korn, Luke Combs, RÜFÜS DU SOL, A$AP Rocky, and TWICE. Hulu will stream select performances on two channels daily starting at 4 p.m. CST.

The Foo Fighters have recruited longtime Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin to replace Josh Freese, who was let go in May. In a direct swap, Freese has rejoined Nine Inch Nails. It’s unclear if Rubin will be a permanent Foo Fighters member or just for touring. Their fall tour starts October 2 in Jakarta.

Miley Cyrus is teasing “something really special” for the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana, which debuted in March 2006. While ruling out a reunion tour, Cyrus hinted at a tribute project—possibly a Disney+ special or curated event.

South Korea’s probe into HYBE has intensified. After regulators referred founder Bang Si-hyuk to prosecutors over alleged stock manipulation tied to HYBE’s 2020 IPO, the National Tax Service has launched an unannounced investigation for possible tax evasion. HYBE says it will cooperate fully.

And finally, Lofi Girl has graduated. The iconic YouTube streamer behind “lofi hip hop radio” officially “moved on” after seven years in a TikTok clip, trading her headphones for a graduation cap. The livestream continues, but fans celebrated the symbolic milestone.
