A Los Angeles judge has granted Sabrina Carpenter a five-year restraining order against William Applegate, a man accused of repeatedly stalking her and attempting to access her Hollywood Hills home. Court documents state that Applegate allegedly visited the property several times, trespassed through a neighboring property, and was arrested after reaching her front door, while also claiming the two were connected through a “classified military government program.” Carpenter told the court the incidents caused severe emotional distress and fear for her safety.

Walter Parazaider, the founding saxophonist and woodwind player of the rock band Chicago, has died at age 81 after a six-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He helped create the band’s signature horn-driven sound, co-founded the group in 1967, and remained a member until retiring in 2018. His most memorable performances include the flute solo on “Colour My World” and the saxophone feature on “Just You ’n’ Me.”

The grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago will feature performances from Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Bono and The Edge, Eddie Vedder, Tems, John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, Common, and more. North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has announced a co-headlining North American tour with rapper Molly Santana. The Kimokawaii Tour will visit 14 cities across the U.S. and Canada this August, following the pair’s debut of their collaboration “Aishite” at the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash festival and the release of North’s debut EP N0rth4evr.
