Israel said that it will allow a limited amount of food into Gaza through existing channels, until a new mechanism is put in place. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says only a “basic” quantity of food will enter, following the advice of the military. Gaza has been under a total blockade of food, fuel, shelter and medicine since March.

Israel is ramping up its attacks across Gaza carrying out a series of air strikes in the southern area of Khan Younis. More than 20 Palestinians have been killed in the attacks since dawn on Monday. Israeli forces have bombed the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, as Palestinians killed and wounded in other attacks were being brought to the hospital.

The Palestinian reporter Bisan Owda says the situation in Gaza has become increasingly intolerable as Israeli forces cut off access to food and water and issue continuous evacuation orders, even as Palestinians have fewer options for seeking shelter. “We feel it’s even harder because we do not have any place to go. At the beginning of the genocide, I fled my home and went to al-Shifa Hospital. I was displaced there, living with my family in the garden for a month. Now I don’t have any idea where to go if the place I am staying is evacuated. The Israeli army is posting evacuation orders more than once a day sometimes,” Owda told Al Jazeera.

Israel will permit minimal food aid to Gaza temporarily, but PM Netanyahu insists on controlling distribution to block Hamas. In an Al Jazeera interview, UN OCHA’s Olga Cherevko called the move insufficient after 10 weeks of total blockade, stressing that Gaza faces "catastrophic" conditions with starvation looming.

Dr. Mohammed Abu Silmiyeh, director of Gaza’s al-Shifa hospital, describes catastrophic conditions as Israeli attacks cripple medical services. The nearby Indonesian Hospital is now "completely out of service" after drone strikes, leaving tens of thousands without care. Al-Shifa—already overwhelmed—is housing eight patients in spaces meant for four, with tents erected for overflow. Hourly arrivals include 50 dead and 130 wounded, amid critical blood shortages.

Palestinians, including many who are starving, are facing an increasing wave of attacks by Israeli forces. Air strikes have killed at least 125 people since early morning on Sunday. Hospital officials say one strike hit a camp sheltering displaced people in al-Mawasi, killing at least 36. Israel had designated the area in southern Gaza a “safe zone”.

Israeli military attacks on Gaza have killed more than 100 Palestinians across the Strip on Sunday. One of them hit a camp sheltering displaced people in al-Mawasi in southern Gaza - an Israeli-designated safe zone. 36 people died there and many more were injured as their tents caught fire. They've been taken to nearby hospitals.
