So, it’s not like anybody is seeing Netanyahu’s words as now being the champion of the Druze leadership. We have a new statement from the president’s office which strongly condemns the shelling by the Israelis, which constitutes a dangerous escalation of the state and its institution. Intense negotiations have been taking place between the Syrian Druze community and the government and this has now led to a calming of tensions.
