Storytelling superhero Matthew Dicks checks in with his opinion on writing and thinking, which is not the same as what he thinks about writing. I think.

Matthew Dicks' book is called Storyworthy, not Storytelling.  Sorry about that, Matthew.  An absolutely *HUGE* container ship is blocking the Suez Canal, screwing up the global supply chain.  Let's talk household chores.

Matthew has published six books and he has posted an entry to his daily blog every day since 2003.  Every. Day.  

I think he knows something about writing. And he knows how to rant.

My brother Russ suggested that I read these useless and (maybe) funny facts about Britain.  So I did.  And, today's question is about things we buy. Or don't buy.  No judgement here.

Steven Pressfield and I have had very different lives. I'm glad I lived the life I did, but it seems I can learn something from his life, and I wonder about that at times.  One thing I've learned is to not trust my evaluation of other people. I've been wrong many more times than I've been right.  Many more.

I'm grappling with the notion that the occaisional hamburger and the daily peice of cheese I eat are destroying the planet and will ultimately wipe out Homo sapiens. Not that I'll be around to see it.

I sure have some strange dreams. Wish I knew why. Or maybe I don't want to know.

Reading this was the most fun I've had so far.  I laughed a lot at the discoveries I made about sneezing and being "saved by the bell."  I didn't make any of this up. Seriously. . .
