There are moments where everything feels heavier than expected. Thoughts overlap, emotions sit just beneath the surface, and even small things begin to feel like too much. Some of what I’m carrying doesn’t make sense yet. And I don’t try to resolve it all in this moment. I come closer. You meet me here—not once I’ve sorted everything out, but right in the middle of what feels unfinished and unclear. You bring steadiness. Not by removing everything around me, but by becoming the place where I can stand without being shaken. You lift me above what feels overwhelming and give me ground that holds. So I pause. I let the noise settle. I let my breathing slow. I allow myself to stand again on something firm. Jesus, lead me back to that place. Where I am not overwhelmed. I am held within Your covering, surrounded by Your presence, and secured by Your power. You strengthen me. Even in rest, You restore me. Even in stillness, You remain active. You sustain me through the night and prepare me for what lies ahead. And I hold this truth—You love me. Because You love me, You gave Your Son. Because You love me, I am not alone. Because You love me, I am safe and secure in You. Jesus, guard this night. Let my sleep be peaceful, uninterrupted, and restoring. Let my mind remain calm. Let my heart rest fully in Your presence.
