On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett, jumps right into the disappointing Mariners season and how they are on the brink of missing the playoffs again. Puck laughs at the idea that they may be eliminated today if the Royals and Tigers win and they would play Friday night on Fan Appreciation Night. Fitting for this organization. 

Puck moves on to talk about how concerned he is with the injury situation with Abe Lucas.  If they are brining in 42 year old Jason Peters, they are in trouble. 

Pac-12 is in trouble after UNLV and Air Force announced their intention to stay in the Mountain West, however, the Pac-12 has the best teams from the Mountain West, so don’t worry. Puck explains why he’s not all that concerned. 

Mike Garafolo, NFL Network stops by to talk NFL.  Doesn’t seem like Byron Murphy and Leonard Williams will play this week.  Abe Lucas not back to full health and Puck wonders if his career is over. Garafolo reassures Puck that his injury is not career ending.  Mike explains that the regular season is in doubt for Christian McCaffrey with his Achilles injury. 

Brad Adam of ROOT Sports drops by for his weekly to talk about the Mariners fledgling playoff hopes while doing the show from his bedroom because his wife is working downstairs and his daughter is home sick.  Puck prods Brad about the team likely being eliminated before they host Fan Appreciation night on Friday and how fans should feel about the team.  They also talk about not wanting to trade any of their young pitchers to add bats in the offseason.  Does Edgar Martinez want to continue coaching?  Brad has his doubts.  The wrap up laughing at Catie Criggs, former team president who is now with the Orioles doing a beer bong after Baltimore clinched a playoff spot.  Brad and Puck both talk about the worst thing they have ever put into a beer bong. 

Finally, “Hey, What the Puck!?” Puck tells Mariners fans to fan any way they want when it comes to this last homestand.
