n today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett and Jim Moore open up the show talking about the Randy Johnson debacle interview on both ROOT Sports and the Mariners radio broadcast.  The Big Unit went all in on his dislike for former owner Howard Lincoln and Puck and Jim were laughing hysterically about how it all went down.  

Travis Fulton, from TravisFultonGolf.com, joins Puck and Jim to preview the U.S. Open.  Who does he like this week and does he think Oakmont is a fair test for the golfers or is it too tough?

Puck and Jim wrap up the Randy Johnson conversation and they wonder if he’ll be allowed to speak next summer when his number is retired? Also, they touch in on the lack of effort being displayed by Randy Arozarena. 

John Canzano from JohnCanzano.com joins Puck to discuss latest news in the Pac-12 in regards to their new media rights deal and expansion.  Is UNLV still in play for the conference or is all attention now being turned to Texas State?  John tells Puck how the House settlement affects college football and specially Washington State and Oregon State.  Speaking of the Beavers, they are in the College World Series and they are joined by former Pac-12 members, Arizona and UCLA. 

Puck wraps up the show with, “Hey, What the Puck!?”   For the Mariners sake and for Randy Johnson, he hopes all parties can keep it cordial next summer and recognize what a great time it was for the M’s and Johnson.
