Hello and a beautiful Sunday morning to you in the name of Jesus. We thank God for everything and I hope you’ve not been enjoying the Christmas holidays. It is important during this time to spread love, to be thankful or show kindness.

We’re still talking about “In all things and For all things”.

Let’s read Romans 8:28 (NLT) 

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. 

That is the mystery behind Thanksgiving, that’s why in all things and for all things we can give thanks because as we do that God causes everything to work out for the good of those who love Him and walk in His purpose.

If you love Him you’ll not complain, you’ll not murmur against Him. Yes, you will have times in your life when you don’t know what is going on.  You might not have all the answers but you can say like Paul said, “I know Him in whom I have believed…”. No matter how dark the clouds are, no matter how bad the situation is; because I love God and He loves me more, and I am in His purpose. He will make everything work together for my good.  Let’s share this message to all those round. It’s a challenging time for a number of people. Let’s help people understand that as long as we walk in love, walk in faith and stay off complaining and murmuring and watch how God will make all things work out for our good.

Share the good news of Jesus and spread the love of God.  This year, God will work everything out for us and cause the year 2021 to be the most glorious year in the name of Jesus. 

Go around and fill your space with the voice of Thanksgiving. You know the way the whole news of negativity has gone round? Make it a duty to fill your space with the voice of thanksgiving, with the voice of God’s goodness and sound of victory, encourage those around you to do the same and watch the mighty wave of thanksgiving and gratitude go round our world.

Hello and a beautiful Saturday to you in the name of Jesus. 

It’s still Christmas season and today is Boxing Day. It’s not “fighting” day or a day to begin to punch ourselves. It is Boxing Day. 

Do you know what Boxing Day is all about? 

Boxing Day is about gifts and presents. You put your gifts in boxes; if you have a Christmas tree you can put the boxes under the tree and open them on Boxing Day. Boxing Day is a day of presents and I pray in the name of Jesus as we celebrate Boxing Day, you will have loads of good things from God in the name of Jesus. 

The Bible says in Psalm 68:19 that God daily loads us with benefits or gifts. So with God, every day is Boxing Day. But the world celebrates today as Boxing Day remembering the season as one of sharing and spreading love.  

As we continue this celebration season today, it is important we remember that some countries, some people are in a lockdown and don’t have the freedom to do the things they will normally this season, our prayers and heart are with you. Irrespective of the situation we are in, let’s be grateful and spread joy of life! Spread loads of good wishes around and let it be a wonderful time to remember 

Deuteronomy 28: 47 - 48 (NKJV)

47 “Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, 

48 therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you.

This scripture shows us the danger of ingratitude. 

When we do not recognize, appreciate and celebrate the goodness of God, when we are not thankful of God’s goodness - “for the abundance of everything,” then we open ourselves to pain, trouble, sickness and diseases. 

Really, it is not that sends evil against people, God simply allows it because people open themselves up to these things with ingratitude. In the midst of all the things going on around us, I know there are lots of challenging things going on, but in spite of that, we can still be thankful. 

Yesterday, I was happy that in spite of all the challenges, the place lit up, I saw pictures, Christmas decorations and all that. 

The light of God is still shining; the hearts of people are still longing for goodness and I am happy that we have not allowed the corona virus and “pandemic” cloud the joy of this season out. 

So, let’s send the gift love out; if you cannot send physical boxes, send joy all around the world. Appreciate God for your family, loved ones and friends. Thank God for the things you’ve eaten and the things you are not able to eat. Appreciate God for everything. 

Why? 

In all things and for all things we can give thanks. 

Trust God that it will be a wonderful season for you and that you will close the year in a great way in the name of Jesus.

Hello and a merry Christmas to you in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. 

We thank God for today. We thank God for another Christmas season. Corona virus or no corona virus, Jesus is the reason for the season. We thank Him because He is bigger that corona virus. Before corona virus, He was there, after corona virus, He will still be there. Before we were there, He was there, after we are long gone, He will still be there. So we can rejoice and be glad no matter what because Jesus still Reigns.

We want to thank God for life. We want to thank Him for this season and I trust God that no matter what is happening, He will storm your life with His peace, love and joy in the name of Jesus. 

Rise and shine; let the voice of thanksgiving and praise flow out from you to others in the name of Jesus. 

Luke 2: 7 - 10 (NLT)

7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

I don’t know where you are today, I don’t know what time of the day it is where you are but guess what; there is joy and peace for you. Don’t be afraid! I want to assure you just as the angel reassured the shepherds when they were afraid and confused at their presence. God is for you and things are working for your good in the name of Jesus. 

The angel said “I bring you good news of great joy”. That’s God’s plan for you no matter what is happening. 

Now, if you go to the beginning of the story, you will find out that the circumstances surrounding Jesus’s birth was very questionable. The Son of God was going to be born and there was no space for Him, no room available in the inns, nobody even offered their house! 

Guess where Jesus was born. The Saviour of world he was born in a manger where animals were kept- donkeys, sheep, goats and all that. 

As He was being born, angels were not singing. It didn’t look wonderful and I am sure in the midst of that, people would have been saying “why didn’t God send the angel to make space for Him, why didn’t the angel act as midwives and all that?” 

Simple, God chose to identify with people in their lowest estate.  

God loves to identify with human beings and He brought Himself as low as possible to let us know that no matter how low you go and how bad things gets, He can identify with you.  And from that place He rose up to be the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and Two thousand years later, we are still talking about Him. 

With the many controversies around her, Mary never complained. It was her first child, God’s Son that was born in a manger but she didn’t complain. The shepherds were keeping their sheep on that cold night and in that situation God still came and identified them. 

This Christmas season I want you to know that God is identifying with you; no matter how great you are, no matter how low you are, no matter the situation. God is identifying with you and He wants you to know and be assured that you don’t have to be afraid of the future. Only “good” will happen to you. 

In all things, for all things, you can give thanks.

You know why? 

God has got your back covered.

Hello and a beautiful Thursday morning to you in the name of Jesus. 

We thank God for today. Today is Christmas eve and I pray Christmas will be a great experience for us in spite of the Covid 19 situation in Jesus name.

In all things and for all things we will always give thanks.

Isaiah 60:1-2(NKJV): 

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. 

God is saying in the world, a time will come when there’ll be darkness and things will be challenging and if you look at it the year 2020 has been like that.

Russell Nelson spoke about the pandemic in the world and other problems. Problems of hatred, selfishness, human betrayal, inequality and all other things that plague mankind. As we remember Christmas it’s easy to recount our woes instead of focusing and counting our blessings 

Yes there’s a lot of trouble in our world but we can still thank God in the midst of this..Some are in the hospital, some are sick, some are dead, some are homeless even before COVID 19 outbreak 

Last Christmas myself and my girls went to give out food to the poor and they were shocked at the level of human suffering they saw on Christmas Day! 

I made them understand that it had always been there. That's why the bible is telling us to arise beyond the darkness, get up, shine the light. Don’t let any form of darkness cloud the goodness of God out of your life. 

Don’t recount curses, loses and pain, count your blessings because God has been good to you.

In this season as we begin to remember Christmas count your blessings. Arise, don’t talk about dark, shine the light and share it around the world, let’s make this Christmas lovely and merry.

Hello and a wonderful Wednesday to you in the name of Jesus and compliments of the season to you! 

We want to thank God for everything because through Christ, in everything and for everything, we can give thanks. That’s what we are talking about all through this week. You can release and unleash the miraculous power of thanksgiving and I pray that will be your experience in the name of Jesus. 

1 Thessalonians 5: 18 (NLT)

18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 5: 20 (NLT)

20 And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The simple lesson here is this; no matter the situation, you can give thanks to God. 

There is a story in John 9; Jesus and his disciples had gone into the city and they saw a man who was born blind. The disciples said “what sin made this man blind from birth?” And Jesus said it’s not this man’s sin nor his parent’s but that the glory and power of God will be seen in the man’s life. Jesus then performed the work of God on his life displaying His power and this act healed the man’s blindness.  When this happed it resulted in praise, adoration, appreciation and thanks giving to God. t wasn’t so much about how he got there; it was that even in the midst of a bad situation, God can bring His glorious work out. And that is why he says that for everything, you can give thanks. 

We’ve been talking about the story Russell Nelson the 96-year-old man from whose life we are learning some lessons about The Power of Thanksgiving.  

He spoke about the losses he had experienced, lives lost during operation he did as a surgeon, the death of his wife and the death of his two daughters to cancer and how painful it was. In fact, you can hear the quiver in his voice as he recounted these experiences. Yet, in the midst of all this, he was able to find reasons to be thankful in that whole experience. He said something in the video that that was quite profound. He said that in the midst of trials, we can find things to be thankful for as we learn new things. 

The psalmist put it this way Psalms 119:71 (NKJV) 

“71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes.”

 In the midst of the challenges of your life, what lessons have you learnt?

As human beings, sometimes we don’t learn until we go through some challenging and difficult experiences. That is not God’s plan or what He wants but sometimes as human beings, we just don’t learn until we get through these things. But, the lesson is this; in every situation give thanks no matter what. 

I pray the Lord will open your eyes, whatever the situation may be, and help you see the seed of thanksgiving and plant them in your heart, mouth and begin to give thanks and rejoice. Do this and watch how God will transform things in your life.

In All Things 2

A beautiful Monday to you in the name of Jesus, we thank God for today and we thank God for the gift of life it’s an exciting week. We’re in the week of Christmas!! And we thank God for how he has kept us in a very challenging year. But in spite of the challenges we have still enjoyed His goodness and mercy, for which we are very grateful.

Throughout this week we’ll be talking about “ In all things and for All things” 

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT)

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."

Ephesians 5: 20 (NLT)

And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

God wants us to give thanks in every situation, in every circumstance and for everything. 

A couple of days ago one of our listeners, a father figure that I fondly call " Baba Bolo" sent me a video message from the President of the Latter- Day Saints, Russell Nelson. In the vedio he spoke  about The Healing Power of Gratitude 

While listening to that video I learnt  many lessons from the things things.

Mr Nelson is an accomplished scientist, a medical doctor, a heart surgeon. He describes himself as  a man of science and a man of faith. He spoke about the reality of science when it comes to health challenges of our world and he also spoke about the realities of faith. He spoke about the ills of our world, the pandemic, racism, unforgiveness and the likes.

He said  he said both science and faith agree to The healing power of gratitude.

When you have a grateful heart, the healing power of gratitude begins to flow through in your life,

Throughout this week we’ll be taking lessons in gratitude from this 96 year old man. If you listen to his story you’ll find out that in his life he was able to thank God in everything and for everything. 

I don’t know what your situation is today, I don’t know what you’re going through right now, nor do I know what you’ve gone through before. But let’s settle this: in all things and for all things we can give thanks. When we do, we'll experience how the Mystery of Thanksgiving turns things around.

We thank God for this beautiful Sunday, we thank God for what God is doing and we thank God for life. We thank God for his goodness; His love, the sun, rain and weather. Why? It is by His goodness and mercy; it is not our right. God is good and He does good to us. 

All through this week, we’ve been talking about “Thankful in Little, Thankful in Much.” If you want to see God lift you up and do great things in your life, show yourself thankful in little things. A heart that is grateful in little, will naturally be grateful in much. 

Like I said earlier, this is all about change of levels. 

Luke 16:10-12 NLT

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?

God was simply showing us the secret of lifting; the secret of going up and being entrusted with more- be grateful for the little. Your attitude to little shows your attitude to much. 

And we’ve seen in the life of David and his son Solomon, how God just kept lifting them. 

As we close this year, we know some people have experienced great losses and challenges this year but understand that with God all things are possible. God can lift you no matter how low you’ve fallen this year, no matter how bad this year has been; God can lift you up beyond your wildest dreams. 

He took Joseph, a common prisoner, from the dungeon, right down there, he took him all the way up to become a prime minister in the same land he was a slave and a prisoner. 

Why?

 Joseph was a grateful man. He never complained about his situation.  

1 Chronicles 17:7-8

7 “Now go and say to my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has declared: I took you from tending sheep in the pasture and selected you to be the leader of my people Israel. 8 I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have destroyed all your enemies before your eyes. Now I will make your name as famous as anyone who has ever lived on the earth!

What a legacy! 

This is the legacy for those who are grateful in little. God secures their lives forever. This is what God was saying about the life of David.

David was grateful in little and in much, he had grateful heart and God never forgot him. God gave him a lasting legacy. God said “I took you from nothing and made something out of you, but even more, I will make your name famous and you will never be forgotten on the earth. King David is still a celebrated in Israel and around the world today. 

You see, when we live this way, with a heart of gratitude all the time, we cannot but be lifted continually. 

Yes, you may have challenges from time to time but God’s mighty hands, His power, glory and wisdom will always be seen in them. And all that working together will naturally boost and build you up. 

Give your life to celebration, appreciation and thanksgiving for the little things and naturally, you will see how God will bring those big things continually in your life.

A beautiful Saturday to you in the name of Jesus. 

We trust God that you are enjoying your day. As we begin to draw close to the end of the month and the beginning of a new year, we cannot but give thanks to God for all that He has done. 

We are still talking about “Thankful in Little, Thankful in Much”. 

If you are thankful in little, that act of gratitude naturally makes you thankful in much and we’ve been looking at the life of David, the secret of his divine lifting and how he was able to pass it down to his descendants. Those who learnt the lesson enjoyed the same lifting that David enjoyed. 

1 king 3: 7 - 9 (NLT)

7 “Now, O Lord my God, you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who doesn’t know his way around. 

8 And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people, a nation so great and numerous they cannot be counted! 

9 Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”

After the death of David, there was this tussle of who would be the next king. One of his son, Adonijah, who felt he was accomplished; had a sense of entitlement and felt it was his right to be king. But God chose the little and inexperienced Solomon to be the king after his father. 

Somehow, Solomon had learnt a number of things from his father, David one of the things he learnt was that he was a nobody without God. 

He offered this great sacrifice and God came to him in the night and said “...ask Me whatever you want and I will give it to you”.

The young man said “I am king today and I know I don’t deserve it. I am a little child, inexperienced but I am grateful for what You’ve done for me. What I ask is that you give me an understanding heart so I can rule your people”. 

His request pleased God; he lifted Solomon and made him the wisest, the richest king. Other kings were coming to him, nations were coming to him and under Solomon the boundaries of Israel increased. 

Why? 

Just like his father, he was grateful in little and God gave him much. Adonijah his elder brother, who had a sense of entitlement lost out completely. 

When we have a false sense of entitlement and think that God owes us and we don’t thank Him for little things, God just puts us aside. 

In Matthew 5, the beatitudes,   Jesus said “blessed are the poor in spirit...”. The poor in spirit is not about material poverty. It is the heart that depends on God. Once you are always dependent on God, you will naturally thank Him for everything. 

So we see how God lifted Solomon. He had that grateful heart and dependence spirit. He was grateful for every little thing that God did for him.

It's by God mercy and grace; he doesn’t owe us anything, so for every little thing you get from Him, learn to thank and celebrate Him and watch how He will respond by lifting us continuously.

A beautiful day to you in the name of Jesus, we thank God for today, Friday. We look forward to a lovely weekend in the name of Jesus.

We’re still talking about “Thankful in little, Thankful in much”. We have been looking at one of the secret behind the greatness of King David and his family.

David was a man who enjoyed divine lifting; God picked him up as a common shepherd boy, he became an assistant to the king, a mighty warrior and later the a king. Today David is remembered as one of the greatest Kings of Israel because he understood the secret of divine lifting and how God changes a man’s level from one level of glory to another. That secret is  ability to see God and appreciate God for everything and in everything

When God was talking about this man David, He said"I have found a man after my heart". He’s after who I am, he thanks Me not just for the things I give him but.

When we learn the secret of thanking God no matter whether in little things and in big things we’ll see how God begins to lift us, it becomes a chain of unending lifting. May that be your experience in Jesus’ name.

1 Chronicles 29:13-14(NLT)

 “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us! 

God had told David about a tabernacle to be built for Him. David had shed too much blood so chose his son Solomon to build it.

 But he decided to give things they would need for the building.

David was a man saw God in everything and saw God as everything in his life. Everything he gave he gave because of his love for God and he knew it all came from God in the first place.

David saw God in everything and he thanked Him for everything because he knew God was the maker of everything. As a result of this, God kept lifting him. 

Thank Him for your position, thank Him for what you have, for what you give, for what has been given to you. Thank Him for everything.

Don’t forget it's all by His grace and mercy, they are divine benefits from Him and as you do that in little and much, you’ll see how He’ll keep lifting you.
