Dame Laura Cox, The Hon. Mrs Justice Cox, took to the bench in 2002 and was an English High Court Judge of the Queen's Bench Division.

She was formerly a barrister, who specialised in employment law, equality, discrimination and human rights.

She recently carried out the enquiry into bullying and harrassment within the House of Commons.
