It's HATER appreciation day at Chick-Fil-A! Where the slogan is "Chick-Fil-A is Anti Gay!" Chick-fil-A has long come under fire from activists for giving millions to groups that advocate against gay rights and even support ex-gay therapy, but the fire has ratcheted up in recent weeks, following interviews in which Cathy said he was “guilty as charged” of supporting “the biblical definition of the family unit" and that gay marriage invites "God's judgment on our nation." Are Cathy's comments anti-gay? Will you continue to support Chick-Fil-A? Where do you stand on the issue?

We will also discuss the Penn State Child Sex Abuse Scandal. We all wanted justice for the victims of Jerry Sandusky, but not at the expense of Penn State and Joe Pa's reputation??? Are those of us who defend the school, and Jo Pa any better than those people who chose to cover up this mess? Has the NCAA gone to far, or not far enough?

Tonight on DiLT we will reflect on the 20th Anniversary of the infamous Rodney King beating by LAPD officers, and the LA Riots.  We will talk about what happened, the lessons we learned, and whether or not it was worth our time and emotions. 

We will also discuss the case of CeCe McDonald - the black transgendered woman who's on trial for manslaughter after killing a man who attacked her; and Marissa Alexander - the FL woman who faces 20 years in jail for firing a "warning shot" to protect herself from her attacker.   Is there a reason why the Black community hasn't rallied around these cases?  Is our decision to ignore social injustice based on our our personal bias???

This week on DiLT our audience has the floor as we entertain a few letters from our listeners wanting advice on relationship issues, and opinions about their behavior...hmmm.  Also on the 20 year anniversary of Rodney King and the LA Riots, we will take a look at what happened, the lessons we learned, and whether or not it was worth our time and emotions.

During some of our past shows, we’ve explored the question whether racism still exists, or if the problem is really classism. 

Several news stories over the past few weeks received National attention for the racist overtones they projected--namely, the murder of Trayvon Martin by neighborhood watch captin George Zimmerman, and the Racist test questions used in the Georgia public school system.  Defenders of both George Zimmerman and the test makers say these incidents have nothing to do with racism.  Are we so desensitized that we don’t realize that we are racist?  Damn it, Let’s Talk! 

We will also weigh in on the Oklahoma law that forces all women to have an ultrasound to hear the babys heartbeat prior to having an abortion.

This week on DiLT we will discuss the Trayvon Martin tragedy and the stigmas associated with being Black.  Has our "freedom of expression" qualified us as a threat to society? 

We will also discuss the Voter ID Bill.  Opponents contend that any photo ID requirement put in place this year is designed to cut down President Barack Obama’s margins in places like Philadelphia by discouraging turnout, thereby helping the GOP’s chances for a statewide win. 

Finally we will weigh in on Casual Sex - A Big Mess!  Is casual sex careless behavior or am I getting old?

This week on DiLT we will discuss the impact of mainstream media on society.  Our feature  topics will include Rush Limbaugh, and his idiotic rants regarding President Obama and Joseph Kony (Lords Resistance Army) and Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke; Sean Hannity and Rep. Allen (super hater) West.  Finally we will weigh in on Whitney Houston/Bobby Brown.  Is it fair that we hold Bobby responsible for Whitney's demise? Tell us what you think.
