Damn Fine TV

On this episode of the Weekly Watch: Jasmin and Mells are chatting about Twin Peaks season 2, episodes 10 through 16. This is the part of S2 most people dislike but...we disagree! There's just so much fun to be had with the Packard/Martell family drama, the Milford brother shenanigans, Nadine's second chance at high school, Windom Earle's 4D murder chess, and, most of all, James Hurley's wild ride. So come join us and get the scoop on Coop! Then, your Queens of the small screen share their thoughts on Westworld, season 3 episode 6, "Decoherence." If you're in need of a laugh, tune in to hear the gals scramble their brains trying to sort this whole show out!

On this episode of The Weekly Watch - or should that be, The Peakly Watch? - Mells and Jasmin are diving into the first half of Twin Peaks season 2. There's SO much to discuss: Cooper meets The Giant! Donna smokes now! The owls are not what they seem! Laura's murderer is revealed! And it's been less than 2 weeks since the events of the pilot!

Then, these Queens of the small screen turn the dial to Westworld, season three episode five, "Genre." Mells and Jasmin both dig the plot and overall themes of the episode, but are still having trouble making an emotional investment. There are still so many questions left to answer and only three episodes left! Will this all turn out to be a simulation? Or is there something else afoot?

Go grab a cup of damn fine coffee, or, if you're so inclined, some Genre, and meet us in the red room! Oh, and Twin Peaks is ALL the genres.

On this episode of The Weekly Watch: it's finally happened, the Damn Fine TV podcast is finally covering the show that inspired its name, the one, the only...Twin Peaks! Mells and Jasmin dish on the entire first season of the show that turned 30 years old this week. It's Mells' first time watching, so she has plenty of (great) questions and theories, and Jasmin addresses them while giving her best Dolores - otherwise known as avoiding the question almost entirely. And speaking of Dolores...the Damn Fine duo cap the episode off with a deep dive into Westworld Season 3 Episode 4, and they are truly entertaining ALL theories at this point - nothing is off the Mortician's table now. Enjoy!

Welcome to our Friday the 13th Spooky Weekly Watch! In honor of this fabulously witchy day, Mells and Jasmin are chatting all about their favourite scary TV episodes. They mention shows as recent as "The Haunting of Hill House" and take a trip all the way back to the early 90s to reminisce about "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" - and, of course, "American Horror Story" comes up once or twice. Plus, we share a few of our own scary stories; well, stories about us being scared, anyways. Then we dive into "The Outsider" finale, and try to tackle the tough (and numerous) questions this series left us with. Like, what's the rent like for an old ass cave in Cecil Tennessee?
