Stacey’s husband is a policeman and and Stacey spotted an opportunity in providing services from off-duty policeman, generating massive benefits for the policemen and the local community. This is how Point Blank Safety started...but that’s not all - In addition Stacy provides support services to the dependents of Law Enforcement Officers everywhere through a nonprofit organisation called Blue Family Fund. In the interview we talk about how Stacey spotted the initial opportunity, what hurdles she's had to overcome, and how to continue growing any business while juggling parenthood, startup costs and the many challenges every entrepreneur faces during their start up phase.

Today I'm joined by Aaron Civitarese, who has built a successful business from providing the interface between influencers and those looking for what those influencers have to offer.

Often times you have situations whereby successful people offering high ticket products are very busy with content creation and branding.

Sometimes they don't have the time to close the deal with their prospects, which is where Aaron's company comes into it through what he calls high ticket closing.

I'll let you get a feel for this business by watching the interview, but for me the main takeaway is the importance of networking in business - quite simply I really believe this is the simplest and most fundamental of ways to get started in any new venture - find out the movers and shakers in your industry, send them a friend request, and network network network.

And what better example than our ex Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Now good old Maggie, love her or hate her, she was a controversial public figure.

She Shook and rattled the status quo and transformed the United Kingdom from a trade union ridden country into a forward-looking competitive state. But she wasn't thanked for it... oh no... she was vilified and hated throughout much of a tenure.

Now boys and girls,this isn’t a political broadcast and I'm not going to tell you my personal thoughts about Maggie. Instead I want to talk about the fact that she didn't seek to be loved.

And herein lies the problem for many marketers - they just care too much about what other people think about them.

This is a major handicap in a world dominated by social media, polarised opinions and quick to condemn keyboard Warriors. So enough of the chat, and let's get straight to it.
