Been exploring the myriad of Kontakt sample libraries. Check out 3:

1. Strings from "String Sessions Pro" - set to Easy Play and Smart Voicing. Literally just playing one key at a time and these massive chords are transitioning to each other along the harmonic minor scale.

2. Piano from "The Giant", on the "Emotional" preset - love this warm, soft sound!

3. Analog Dreams - I forget the preset (sorry!) but I'm playing around with the modwheel in this one so you can hear the cool swells you can create.

"Reflection" is one of the most important Tool songs, and highly underrated. Did a little guitar/indian version of it and briefly talk about Maynard's incredible lyric work here. You know, before we pine away.

Can't wait to hear what other drummers do to this track! Let me know your thoughts on this. Terrene means "of the Earth". It's gonna be a good one guys!

Over this past weekend I've been diving deep into exploring Kontakt's sample libraries. So far my favorites are The Giant, India, Kinetic Metal, The Gentleman, and String Sessions Pro. There's SO MUCH to explore, and it's so much damn fun!
