This Electro House BackSpin mix presents a Millennial Dance Classics survey from 2009–2010, built as a near three-hour club set of pop hits recut for peak-time play. It trades radio familiarity for floor-ready edits, leaning into funky-house grooves and electro reworks that reshape mainstream singles into DJ-friendly sequences.

Highlights include reinventions by Liam Keegan (Katy Perry’s "California Gurls"), Oakenfold (Madonna’s "Celebration"), and Buzz Junkies (Robyn’s "Dancing On My Own"), while Dave Audé’s multiple club mixes thread the set together. The sequence balances big-name pop — Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Black Eyed Peas — with producer-driven turns from David Guetta and an EDM close from Avicii & Sebastien Drums, offering a concise time capsule of how pop and club sounds merged at the turn of the 2010s.

For fans of remixed pop and electro/funky house edits, this volume is a packed set of familiar hooks given new club context.

Electro House Classics — BackSpin Volume 7 collects the club-ready remixes and pop-EDM crossovers that dominated 2009–2010 dancefloors. This three-hour mix is built for pre-games, afterparties, and every charged-up moment in between, showcasing how remix culture turned radio hits into club anthems.

Highlights include multiple Dave Audé reworks of Lady Gaga alongside Jump Smokers’ take on Usher and Jody den Broeder’s edits for Christina Aguilera and Rihanna. Selena Gomez’s early Scene singles and Ke$ha’s TiK ToK appear in club-ready forms, which illustrates how pop stars and underground remixers met halfway on the dancefloor.

The set also nods to architects of the era like David Guetta and the European crossovers that pushed global sounds into mainstream clubs. Expect a balance of brash, explicit floor-fillers and sleeker continental edits — a snapshot of when electro house was the default language of clubland.

Electro House BackSpin: Volume 6 focuses on 2009–2010, a turning point when electro-house and big remixes pushed EDM into pop’s spotlight. This installment collects club-ready remixes and crossover anthems designed to recreate peak-hour energy and the festival-ready sound that defined the era. Expect heavy-hitting remixer names and pop stars remixed for the floor: David Guetta’s stadium-ready touch sits alongside repeated club turns from Dave Audé, Cahill, and Moto Blanco. The mix highlights landmark pop-to-club conversions from Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Ke$ha, and Bruno Mars while also nodding to disco-leaning and funky-house reworks that kept dancefloors moving. Volume 6 is the first of three BackSpin releases covering 2009–2010, curated as a time capsule of the moment remixes became the main event. If you lived through sweaty club rooms, late-night mixes, and the rise of producer-as-headliner, this set is aimed squarely at reliving those nights.

This BackSpin installment is an Electro House–focused snapshot of Dance Club Songs from 2007–2008, assembled to recreate the long-form club mixes that dominated that era. Volume 5 collects extended remixes and peak-floor anthems designed for DJs to ride, updated here to include P!nk’s U + Ur Hand (Bimbo Jones Explicit Mix). Highlights thread deep disco-rooted touches through late-2000s big-room energy: Fish Go Deep & Tracey K’s The Cure & The Cause (DJ Meme Philly Suite re-edit) stands out for its string-led, Salsoul-inflected arrangement, while Eric Prydz’s Pjanoo, Freemasons feat. Katherine Ellis, and StoneBridge-helmed club mixes supply euphoric peaks. The set also leans on Jody Den Broeder’s festival-ready reworks for Rihanna and peak-time edits from Kaskade and others to maintain momentum. There’s a short reflection here on how streaming shortened remix culture and why these six- to ten-minute club versions mattered for DJs and dancers. Expect Volume 6 to move into 2009–2010; enjoy this trip back to the stretch-of-the-night energy.

Electro House BackSpin revisits 2007–2008 and the remix-driven moment that reshaped dance floors and launched the Party Favorz podcast. This Volume 4 set collects extended club mixes and reworks that moved Electro, Funky House, and Progressive sounds from underground rooms into mainstream playlists. Expect pop-diva anthems remixed for the floor alongside the era’s remix culture: highlights feature Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Robyn stepping into club form, plus heavyweight reworks from Bimbo Jones and Seamus Haji. The set traces how remix royalty and shifting promo budgets changed DJ strategy, and why those edits still sound vital for listeners who lived through the period or are discovering it now.
