The Larkin Studio is like no other. The Larkin family have been training some of the best dancers in the country for decades, and although they have faced many challenges, the Corona Pandemic is proving to be one of the most difficult. Sisters & Co-directors, Molly & Michele Larkin talked with me about how they are managing their studio, online teaching, dealing with competition & recital cancellations, graduating seniors and more. They provide some tips for zoom teaching and ways to navigate the finances during this difficult time. In this second part of our interview, Kris talks about how she started her online health and fitness business, why she chose the MLM she did, and what it has done for her life. Just this week, the online platform she is affiliated with sold 97K memberships!  During this Corona-crazy time, she shares how having this online business has helped her have financial stability, and also how she is viewed as a "tech guru" by her peers in the dance community. She also shares how her online business partners have supported her growth, development and knowledge. 

This is the first of a 2 part series. I sat down with my friend Kris Ashley to talk about finding your fit and creating multiple revenue streams, specifically in an online platform. In part 1, Kris shares her experience moving to NYC to pursue a professional dance career, and the many hats she wore during her time in NY, from Knicks City Dancer to program developer in corporate America. Kris now is director of a non profit dance program in Colorado as well as CEO of her own online health and fitness program, Heart & Hustle. She shares how growing and creating multiple revenue streams can help bridge the financial gap that a lot of dance / performers face.
