In this episode Valarie discusses several components of rape culture. Victim blaming, victim shaming, cover ups and failing to recognize the necessity of consent. We need to come out of the shadows and shed light on rape culture and work towards a much overdue change.

We live in a world where women are advised how to dress and act so they don't get raped instead of men being told don't rape. A world where victims are blamed and even threatened to not speak out. This needs to stop. #metoo is a start but action needs to be taken to change the narrative.
