A classic "Meatwad's power goes to his head" episode, Carl and Shake force themselves to be nice to Meatwad for a chance at attending the biggest sporting event of the year. Little do they know, is that the Super Bowl didn't even ask Meatwad for his tickets... also it was a farm. I have one question for you: Who is The Drizzle? Master Shake takes on the persona of The Drizzle (and later, The Fume)-- totally ignoring the fact he is already a super detective. In this microcosm of an episode, Dana Snyder takes the lead with ATHF's most dialogue-focused episode yet. Shake's hubris causes him to "accidentally" spill nuclear waste on himself, yielding him the great power of..... melting.... Season 1 of Aqua Teen is must-see television for any aspiring creative. Despite its many flaws, errors, and clear growing pains-- Aqua Teen's first season still goes on to become one of the most enjoyable seasons of any television show. With infinitely quotable episodes, iconic side characters, and a genuinely interesting perspective, Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro took what little Cartoon Network was willing to give and made one of the network's biggest shows. And we get to see every step of that history in these eighteen episodes. We've got some changes coming this year! The last Monday of every month will look a little different: on the free feed, instead of a deep-dive into the next episode, we'll have a new podcast called Community Jiggle where we'll discuss ATHF news, other ATHF content, what's up with the podcast, etc.! That same day, over on the Patreon, we'll be diving into the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters in the same style we do the main episodes in! We will do this in 10-minute segments (of the film) until we are done with it. By that point, the new 2022 film should be out and we'll jump into that! Note that this film deep-dive will replace the Adult Swim deep-dives we've been doing on the Patreon. All of these changes are to allow me more time to do other things for the podcast (promoting it, getting guests, etc) that I've let slip by the past few months. THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO a cybernetic ghost haunted Carl. Why, you ask? Well, wouldn’t you like to know! His house was built on the graveyard of elves, enslaved by the Great Red Ape (Santa of Claus) and forced to make toys to be thrown at prey… and defecated upon. This, of course, before they unionized. For Frylock and Meatwad, Christmas is a time for giving. For Master Shake and Carl, the reason for the season is pleasin’. Shake is looking for a home chef, Carl looking for a partner of the physical persuasion. The first proper female character of the Aqua Teen world, poor Svetlana gets swept up into the insanity we’ve come to accept over these past 16 episodes. Also, Meatwad gets some hair.
