Dane Giraud is a comedy writer with a background in performance (music and acting). He's also an active member both of the NZ Jewish community and of the NZ Free Speech Union. We talked to him about the government's proposed 'hate speech'  laws, the importance of free expression in the arts, and how things have changed since the days of Monty Python.
