Dangerous Rhetoric

Chelly is a based-mom of three who moved out of Portland after the rioting got crazy. She's been taking pictures documenting the activity of various black-bloc groups and antifas for the last 7 years. Now doxxed, they know where she lives and continue to harass and stalk her. This is textbook terrorism: using threats of violence and intimidation to push a political agenda. Further, it seems most of these people are misguided youth, as well as the psychologically damaged and personality disordered. Join us for a discussion of her work and experiences, as knowledge and awareness of this insanity in Portland can help prevent it spreading to other cities.

Ritchie is a hilarious and intelligent individual who recently had a viral thread about his experience de-transitioning. You can read the thread in its entirety here: https://www.eutimes.net/2022/06/uk-transgender-man-who-is-trying-to-detransition-shares-grim-details-of-trans-surgeries/

It has since been mass-reported and partially redacted. Much of it was censored until JK Rowling retweeted it and brought a lot of attention to it. We discussed Ritchie's story growing up, what drove him to craft the thread, and how these issues are impacting children and adults.

Simon is a father, author, and gay Russo-American immigrant who has some interesting perspectives on coming out, immigration, and fatherhood. Simon trapped us with his thirst traps on twitter, but his thoughts on self-improving, working out, and having gratitude were well-worth the conversation. We cracked a lot of gay jokes too, enjoy!

In this episode we spoke with a living musical legend, Paul Masvidal of the band Cynic, whose extensive career of over three decades includes contributing to the very founding of death metal and progressive metal as well as scoring music for TV. While still in high school, Paul befriended and toured with Chuck Schuldiner and the band Death, playing guitar on the record Human (1992) and then releasing the record Focus (1993) with his band Cynic; these became two of the most groundbreaking and iconic metal albums of all time. But Cynic was not received well in the beginning, breaking up shortly after until their impactful return in 2008. We spoke with Paul about his unusual career path; his close bandmates Sean Reinert and Sean Malone (who passed away within 11 months of each other in 2020 and 2021) and their loss; being gay in the metal world; spirituality, and even a bit about aliens.

In our second live stream event, we dive into the strange case of activist/provocateur Jayden X aka John Earle Sullivan. Mysteriously escaping criminal consequences for his involvement at the front lines on January 6th, 2020, as well as a propensity for stirring up trouble in Portland and Utah, INFAMOUS in activist circles are repeatedly labeled a provocateur or government asset, Sullivan seems to be out of jail pumping out a TON of very well edited digital videos across the web.

Brian Edward is a founding member and director for Mythinformed Milwaukee - originally to help bridge the cultural gap between religions - the organization has evolved to sponsor and promote conversations between both sides of the cultural debate across a wide-range of issues. Their most recent event was in Ft Worth, TX under the Better Discourses banner. We discussed the origins of the organization, the culture-war, and some hot-button issues surrounding gender-ideology and American rights. Mythinformed's twitter account was recently banned over a bad-faith DMCA copyright claim from a drag-child's mother and we discussed Twitter censorship and their response.
