In December of 2018 I made this special secret nuzlocke series as part of a "secret santa" gift exchange.

I made this whole six episode series and then I burned it on to CDs, and then I sent it to Blakie from https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/anchor-podcasts/luckless the luckless podcast.

And now I'm finally making it public! You can all listen too!

Why? Because I'm too lazy to do a real episode!

Hope you like it! and be sure to stick around for the special new Daniel K Officially Reviews Music segment at the end.

Ihatovo Monogatari 06 (Season -6 episode -13)

New chapter listeners. Listen in on me struggling my way through this elephant-centric chapter of Ihatovo Monagatari AKA Stories of Ihatovo aka Ihatovo Story, aka a cool narrative adventure game all based on the writings of Kenji Miyazawa, who's name I'm crow-barring into this episode description on the off chance that some weird soul enters Kenji's name into a podcast search engine to try to find podcast episodes all about Kenji Miyazawa. If you did that and you found this... Hooray! Please download it! Please download my stuff. I watch my numbers so closely, you wouldn't even believe, I promise I'll notice the little blip I get from your attention and it would make me feel real good. So hey, do it for old Dan, huh? Download my episodes? Go onnnn, you don't even have to listen, it won't change the size of the blip at all. What do ya say?

Yeah, thanks in advance.

Music in this ep was Killing in the Name of by Rage Against the Machine, and also a little bit of Six Ways to Sunday by The Drones, and also Sleapwalk by Rob Bourasa.

Also I came *THIS* close to putting Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel by Behemoth all over the last bit of the episode, coz of when the elephants started going on about blowing their trumpets.

But I took it out. It kinda over-powered the moment.

Here it is if you wanna listen to it before the ep. That way you'll get to the bit and think "huh, yeah I can see why dan wanted to stick this in there, but yeah I respect his decision because it definitely would have overshadowed that cool moment with the elephants, yeah"

okay/thanks

Ihatovo Monogatari 05 (Season -6 episode -12)

More of this game I'm enjoying. It's great!

We disagree sometimes, but hey overall it doesn't matter, because this games great.

Music in this game was taken from Hildegard Von Bingen's tribute to Ursula the Virgin Martyr and her 11000 Virgin Martyr friends.

There was also a snippet of audio from a herzog documentary. it Wasn't from the film I was thinking of and mentioned in the episode, but oh boy! it really did the job anyway.

anyway!

Until next time, goodbye.

Oh! and thanks as always to Tom for translating this awesome game. I'm impressed with the quality of your translation. It's outstanding.

Great Greed 11. (Season -6 episode -11).

Heyyyy, enjoy this slightly extra rambly, stuffy, croaky, sicky, greaty, greedy episode.

Why not check out the brokusatsu podcast? https://brokusatsu.podbean.com/

Closing credits music was Skeleton Dan by The Cowmen.

Ihatovo Monogatari 04 (Season -6 episode -10)

Good episode I think! Not because of me though.

Three Daniel K Recommends segments in this one though! that makes up for all the times I've not done any recently, which is lots.

1. My wife's German-style bread dumplings.

2. The Charlie Chaplin film The Gold Rush: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhM3HV3kzfY

3. the Wild Beasts album Two Dancers:

and 4., I didn't recommend it, but hey why not go watch Night on the Galactic Railroad again huh?

Many thanks to Tom the translator as always.

Great Greed 10. (Season -6 episode -9).

Wecom to another episode listeners. Oooo what a fun time huh? Will I escape the poisonous fog? Yes. Aaah, but what next? Listen and find out!

For yourselves!

No special music in this one, only Six Ways to Sunday by The Drones as always...

Hey Matt, sorry about your audio. My ears adjusted pretty quickly to it after I put on my headphones, but it would've felt suuuper shitty to have that happen. I know the feeling, but you probably had it way worse...

I don't actually know if you ever read these descriptions. I think Tyler does, every now and again. But I don't know about you.

Anyway. Sorry about your audio, and sorry I'll be hearing less of you on Party Roll. That's a shame for us poor matt-hungry listeners, but hey maybe it'll be good for you. I hope so.

Wow, cool! I forgot; I'm wearing my Bob Goblin patreon shirt as I type this! snazzy.

Aaaaaanyway, yeah thanks everyone. Bye.
