Danielle’s Reading Nook

What I think on books that were turned into movies. Again this is my opinion. You may have your own opinion about them.

If you love horror and suspect mixed with sci-fi and fantasy, look into Stephen King. You won’t be sorry

To me poetry has helped me get rid of some stress and get rid of some things that have been on my mind

Some books and series that I didn’t like. It’s not that they were bad, it is just that I personally don’t like them. This is my personal opinion on these books.

The books/series and authors I mentioned: The Defiance Trilogy by C.J. Redwine, The 5th Wave series by Rick Yancey, The Maze Runner series by James Dashner, The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins, The Divergent Series by Veronica Roth, The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, The Legend Series by Marie Lu, and The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

They were written by Lemony Snicket. And you can get them anywhere books are sold! The books are: 1.)The Bad Beginning 2.) The Reptile Room 3.) The Wide Window 4.) The Miserable Mill 5.) The Austere Academy 6.) The Ersatz Elevator 7.) The Vile Village 8.) The Hostile Hospital 9.) The Carnivorous Carnival 10.) The Slippery Slope 11.) The Grim Grotto 12.) The Penultimate Peril 13.) The End

The books: 1.) The Hunger Games 2.) Catching Fire 3.) Mockingjay 4.) The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

If you are ages 10 to 14 and want to read horror novels, check out the “Goosebumps” series by R.L. Stine. They are centered around many different topics and not really that scary. But still, check out this series if you want to be thrilled; but in a good way!!

The books are: 1.) Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, 2.) Hallow City, 3.) Library of Souls, 4.) A Map of Days 5.) The Conference of the Birds 6.) The desolations of Devil’s Acre. Tales of the Peculiar is the book set before the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children novel
