What is it that makes Hot Dog Stand so unique? It's an often requested "lost" educational game for the Macintosh computer. There are lost shareware games, obscure betas and whatnot floating around, but somehow Hot Dog Stand is still fondly remembered enough to stick in the minds of adult millenials today. Many people were introduced to educational programming in schools, which has created a strange interest in the genre years later. These programs and games were only accessible to teachers via special educational order forms and bundles, and often were not sold at retail level.

Mahō Shōjo Fancy Coco is a princess maker style game for the PC-98 Japanese computer, where the main goal is to make schedules and train your princess. This game also came out for PS1.
Star Virgin is an hour long movie from Japan created alongside the little known game of the same name distributed by Pony Canyon. The movie remains obscure, just like it's MSX exclusive!

Game notes and reflections after playing the MSX2 game Labyrinth. I chose to play and stream this game a second time, as a new updated fan translation recently came out. This is a challenging adventure game, because you can soft-lock if you don't acquire several items at the start. This game has an amazing appearance, fantastic FM music, and is a delight to play once you've figured things out. Fans will like that this game follows scenes from the movie and has a large David Bowie portrait at the start.

I wanted to look behind a few of the fantastic video games I have made Dank Art for and check out some of their inspirations, stories, and exciting features. Not every game gets Dank Art, and often I am choosing games with a strange quirk or story behind them. Here are three examples of Dank Arts for three video games and what I find to be my peculiar take on them.
