For those unaware, today is the first day of Women's History Month. It is celebrated to commemorate and encourage the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.

1) An honest assessment of Black male musical artists all in one room that took a “toasting photo” four years ago which prompted a little backlash on social media.

2) An honest interview with former NBA player J.R. Smith about how Black athletes and entertainers are squandering their money AND their opportunity.

EMOTIONAL TERRORISM.

AND HOW WE ARE TO BLAME.

It’s growing. And it’s getting scary.

And it troubles me that WE (the public) are being used as a tool in the warfare.

Kids are involved. Lives may be at stake.

And it’s time we take things seriously and stop acting as though these actions are normal. Even for Kanye.

Dr. Theresa Price founded the National College Resources Foundation (NCRF) a 501c3 non-profit organization in 1999 in direct response to the passing of California’s Proposition 209 that banned affirmation action programs in California colleges. Since its inception, the organization has helped students secure more than $500 million in scholarships & grants and has helped over 500,000 students (over 300,000 first-generation students) get into college, through 130 College Expos produced by NCRF.

She will discuss the genesis of the NCRF, its mission and how YOU (or someone you love) might benefit from her wonderful organization.

I believe that there’s a BUNCH of people that are in situations where you are being underutilized and underappreciated. You feel like you’re in limbo. You have been working HARD to reach your maximum potential and you seem to be spinning your wheels on a day-to-day basis. And I want to spend today’s broadcast reminding you about the greatness of YOU.

That’s what I want us to discuss today.

Many of you have NON-Black people in your respective circles that use the N-Word on a regular basis.

If you are an African-American, you not only have an obligation… It is your God-given DUTY to disrupt the system. Period. The status quo shouldn’t be acceptable to ANY OF US.

And if you’re an African-American who White America has convinced that the ONLY way for you to succeed is for you to turn your back on your own people, in your quest for attention and the dollar, you have made the poor decision to throw the same people that were at the back of the bus UNDER the bus. And I pray that you eventually find what you and your bank account are looking for. Selling out your own people to ironically find yourself…
