The Thanda Inja Project offers veterinary assistance to the community of Gabon, Chris Hani and surrounding Informal Settlements in Daveyton. Every second week a team of registered veterinarians and volunteers accompanies Pug Rescue SA to offer veterinary services, vaccinations, tick and flea treatment, de-worming, education and supplement feeding.

At the same time that we offer veterinary care to the community, we also offer a soup kitchen which is visited by children passing by on their way to school and to the community making use of the offering.

Yahto has been on stage since a very young age, as performing is his passion. He is a strong vocalist with a very high tenor range and has a very high belt. At the age of 8, he was awarded Junior World Champion for Acting (ages between 7 and 15) in Los Angeles, America.

His first musical theatre experience on stage was in 2010 in the Alberton Civic Theatre as Michael Banks in Mary Poppins. After that, he has done numerous productions and pantomimes, including Virtuoso Showcase, La Dolce Vita, Rock of Ages Production en Rooibekkie Pantomime. Recent performances include, Detention – an original Afrikaans Musical (Lead Role as Sebastian), 2017 Night with the Stars with the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra (soloist) and he was a backing vocalist in The Voice South Africa, for Richard Stirton, the winner of The Voice South Africa season 1. In June 2017, he portrayed Moritz in a workshop of Spring Awakening for Grade 6 Trinity Musical Theatre Group Exams.

He performed in BTP in 2016 as a soloist and performed his own original song "Ugly" in BTP Shine last year (2018), as well as designing and sewing some costumes for the show!

His most recent performing credit was appearing on season 3 of the hit television reality show, The Voice South Africa, where he placed 6th overall!

Yahto is an energetic, passionate artist with a true love for the stage and performing who is writing his own material and Is planning on releasing his original music within the new year. He has also launched his YouTube channel and is staring his own fashion brand, House Of Kraft. Keep your eyes peeled, big things are coming!
