HAPPY ANNIVERSARY RIDERS AND LISTENERS!! The BikeRides Radio Show turns 8 this week, which makes it about a 3rd grader we guess so let's all rise to the occasion!. Nothing but bike riding related songs for the entire hour which includes some very, very deep bike tracks. Thanks for 8 great years, riders and listeners!!

This week Dan introduces the riders and listeners to Minneapolis Alt Rockers, 4 on the Floor via Oxycontin, while Hank steers the ride to more familiar territory with a deep bike track from ELO among many others, plus the usual useless banter between songs you've come to know and love, enhanced of course by prescription drugs.

Hank joins for a random ride this week that begins and ends in a polka sandwich, filled on the inside with gems from Connor Oberst, David Gray and Mott the Hoople, among others.

It's Artworks Festival 2019 and Bike Rides has one of this year's biggest stars live in the studio. Charlie Parr joins Hank and Dan to play some live tracks off the his latest, self-titled CD and tell some very interesting stories.

Demo Derby 2!! It's fair time and we pay homage to the greatest Grandstand event ever conceived; the Demolition Derby. Hear all your favorite songs in 'Demo' form, before the records were actually made; it's like eating cookie dough all hour with treats from The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin and the artist formerly known as alive, Prince.

The random, at times complicated and later even psychedelic, ride begins with a punk cover of Springsteen's 'Radio Nowhere,' from Liverpool punk'rs, Town Bike and ends with a hippy/trippy track from early Pink Floyd, right out of the ol' rabbit hole.

4th OF JULY SHOW!! Join Hank and Dan for the annual 4th of July show that's a bit of a confusing mess actually, but as usual it all gets sorted out neatly by the end of the ride. Lot's of good music in this one plus we get an education on the Declaration of Independence!
