The main point of Romans 8:31-39 is that no opponent or enemy can successfully wage war against believers because God is for us. In the process, Paul expresses what it means that God is for us.

Believers are assured that God works everything for good because the God who set his covenant love on them, predestined them to be like his Son, called them effectually to himself, and justified them will certainly glorify them.

Romans 8:26-27 unpacks yet another ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. Paul shares this incredible truth in light of going through suffering in this world as we await the Lord’s return.

This week our Bible passage tells us that all creation groans with believers as we long for the glory that awaits us when our redemption is complete.
