Here's hoping you had a wonderful holiday season, now back to more podcasts! This is an episode I have been looking forward to for quite some time as I get to chat with Darcy Van Poelgeest about his newest Boom! Studios comic Lotus Land with artist Caio Filipe. I read issue #1 of Lotus Land and it's a science-fiction noir, set in a future version of Vancouver. It's a mystery where we, the reader, follow along as things unravel but at its heart is the story of a parent and child. I loved it. I have been a fan of Darcy's work since the owner of my LCS put a copy of Little Bird #1 into my hand and said "You MUST read this", because Little Bird is one of the best comics I have ever read. We even get to discuss a little bit about Precious Metal.
