Today is our last episode in the Becoming the Bride Series. Living Victoriously is a journey of faith. We are victorious, because Jesus was victorious. Victory can n=only be found in HIm. We can't do it alone. 1 Corinthians 15:57-58 says: "But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." In order to live victoriously we must understand who we are in Christ and ALL that entails. It will require us to deal with the victim mindset/spirit. In the final epsiode of this series today, Amie and I discuss these things and more. Plus I give some steps for getting free of the victim mindset and walking it out so our faith can be counted towards us as righteousness.

Psalms 1:3 says, "You are like a tree, planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry. Your fruit ripens in its time; your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun. No matter what you do, you prosper."

The command to be fruitful and multiply starts in the book of Genesis and extends all the way through to the end in the book of Revelation. At first it was a spiritual blessing given to Adam and Eve in the Garden then it was made into a covenant and a command when Christ commissioned His church.

We are to bear good fruit as we stay connected to the vine, but we are also told to multiple and make disciples.

"… so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work," … Colosians 1:10

From the beginning, God established a culture of generosity with the Old Testament laws and commands on how to care for the poor, widows, orphans and resident aliens. However, we see Jesus take this culture of generosity and He shows us not just how to cultivate a lifestyle of generosity, but how to live a lifestyle of generosity through all we do and say. Generosity is about much more than giving money or of our time. It is about reflecting the love and compassion of God's nature and His character to others.

2 Corinthians 9:11 says, "You will be made rich in everything so that your generosity will spill over in every direction. Through us your generosity is at work inspiring praise and thanksgiving to God."

Nehemiah had to deal with squatters in the land so he could steward what God had called him to do during the rebuilding of the wall. Many are in a building season right now and have intense battles all around which could be due to the squatters we are allowing to be in the midst of what we are building. Sometimes we need to ask God to help us edit our relationships so we can build and steward well.

While doing the Equipping the Bride Series this summer, God challenged me to challenge us all to start doing something with what we've been equipped with, thus I am doing a new series called: Becoming the Bride Series.

"All Creation is eagerly waiting for the sons of God to be revealed." (Romans 8:19-20) Becoming the bride is all about dieing to ourself, stepping into the maturation process, getting a name change, taking on our new identity, picking up our cross and following after Christ.

Prophetic Classes

Now more than ever it is important that we fine tune our ability to hear from God. An important element in any relationship is communication: a simple two-way conversation of listening and responding. But for many of us, it's not so simple. We have, for whatever reason, never experienced this depth of relationship with God. Yes, we talk; but somehow, when He talks, we can't hear Him.
