Welcome to the continuation of our Summer Podcast Series called: Equipping the Bride. Several months ago, the Lord told me He wanted me to spend more time recording my own podcast episodes and less interviewing authors for a season at least. As I prayed into what He wanted me to share, I felt a mandate from God to equip His Bride for the days ahead. As I began to outline and talk this out, I couldn't think of a better person than Amie Rogers to join me in these equipping discussions. This series of podcast episode conversations are designed to equip and challenge you to step into your bridal identity.
Week 5 in our series on Equipping the Bride is: Poverty Mindset
No one wants to admit they have a poverty spirit or poverty mindset, but the reality is we all have fallen prey to this spirit. Instead, God wants His bride living and walking in an Abundnce Mindset. He wants us to thrive and live and not live in lack. There are more examples than you might think throughout Scripture of individuals who had to deal with overcoming the poverty mindset to step into the plans God had for them.
3 John 2:1 says "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." NKJV The poverty mindset has to do with more than money. God is inviting us to willfully and willingly step into a place of healing. It is important that we get our hearts healed from the poverty mindset so tht we can truly step into who God has called us to be. Join us for multifaceted conversation today.

Week #4 in our series on Equipping the Bride is: Bridal Identity
The church, the remnant, the bride, oh my. Which Bridal identity do you relate to the most right now? We need to be moving from one identity to the next we are growing in maturity. The end goal is to become the Bride of Christ. To become a bride worthy of her Brodegroom, but in many areas we have a long way to go.
We need to take a long look at how the church in America has westernized the Bible and Scripture. Instead we need to look at what the time and culture of the day was when the soties took place, when the Bible was written and when Jesus was walking on the earth. This will helps us in our preparation and understanding our identity in becoming the bride. The church and the culture today has an identity crisis and we must come into a fuller understanding and revelation of our true identity in Christ.

Week #3 in our series on Equipping the Bride is: Discipleship
Discipleship is an important element for every Christ follower, but now more than ever it is important that we are not only being discipled, but that we are discipling others as well. As the Bride of Christ we must have the mindset that we have something to teach and we also must have a teachable spirit and be open to learn from others. We must learn to love like Jesus and follow in His footsteps. We must become more like Him in our attitudes and actions.

Week #2 in our series on Equipping the Bride is: Discernment
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
At the end of 2021 God began speaking to me about discernement and gave me an eye opening dream regarding the importance of this gift. The message was clear: It is essential that the people of God walk in and use discernement in all situations. If we do not, we will be caught unaware and be gutted by the enemy.
Discernment is an important spiritual gift and one that many overlook or discount as being important. Today, Amie and I discuss why Discernment is essential now more than every and why as the Bride of Christ we all need to be operating in it. We also look at discernment when it comes to personal prophecies and times and seasons.
I have recorded several podcast episodes on this one topic.
They are Episodes: #88~12/2/20Discernment: #TruthMatters, #103~3/17/21 Discernement with Jane Hamon, #141~12/29/21 Word for 2022, #154~ 3/20/22 Ministry to Kids, #172~8/3/22 Activate Discernment

First up in our series on Equipping the Bride is: Spiritual Plagiarism. Fair warning, this is a hot button topic for me and it makes me sad that people are not hearing fresh words from God or seeking their own personal revelation. Instead they are taking someone else's stuff and passing it off as their own. It is especially bothersome when it is a big name platform Plagiarising a small no name one.
It's one thing to borrow or utilize someone esle's stuff with permission or giving credit where credit is due. But when someone blatantly uses anothers material without giving credit, it is wrong. But wait - I can hear you saying: "if we are all listening to the Holy Spirit then won't be getting the same or similar words?" Yes, it is true that we can get similar and even the same things from the Lord. However, it will come through our own style, personality, and lens. We as the people of God need to have our eyes open to true, pure revelation and be discerning of those which are not.

Cally Logan's new book, "The Wallflower that Bloomed" challenges societal norms that pigeonhole individuals into these predetermined roles of invisibility. With heartfelt sincerity, Cally Logan urges us to strip away the stigma associated with being an outsider, to cease judging those who prefer solitude, and, most importantly, to learn to truly see others for who they authentically are. Moreover, this captivating exploration compels us to reflect upon our own journey towards self-acceptance and self-love.
Instead of resigning ourselves to a life of isolation and judgment, we are invited to embrace the notion that we can stand proudly in our uniqueness, fully blooming into the remarkable beings we were always meant to be.
Cally and I discuss many topics from her book including: The bullly in the mirror, Refraining hurtful terms, having a healthy relationship with the past, seasonal mission statements, breaking people pleasing and more.

In their new book, Honest Prayers for Momma Bears, Authors Hillary Morgan Ferrer and Julie Loos put words to the cries of our hearts as we seek clarity and truth in today's confused culture. The book contains 147 prayers, 12 sections, with almost 30 contributors. Through these praises, confessions, thanksgivings, and petitions, you'll lay your burdens at your heavenly Father's feet and experience His comfort and hope as you entrust Him with your unedited thoughts.
In the everyday battle of raising kids who love Jesus while living in a world that doesn't, God invites you to come to Him. No cleaning up, no pretenses, no fancy words—all you need is to tell Him what's truly on your heart and then ask for the wisdom, encouragement, and protection that only He can provide.
They have a YouVersion 14-day devotional that will give you a taste for more of what's in the book, but I can tell you, this is a powerful book filled with powerful prayers and teaching a well.
