Dare 2 Hear - The Podcast

It matters what we dwell, focus, and feast on. What are you feasting on?

Social Media? The News? The Word of God? The Word of God and Testimonies of God's faithfulness are what we need feasting on and dwelling on. Psalms 37 is a right now word for the church in this season.

Jane Hamon is a powerfully anointed and gifted teacher and her newest book, "Declarations for Breakthrough: Agreeing with the Voice of God" just released. In this interview Jane and I discuss what a decree is, how to write your own decree, and how declarations from God can change everything. Jane's new book is power-packed with declarations, activations and decrease from the Lord.

Also, Jane's book "Discernment" was a game changer for me. If you missed my previous interview with Jane I encourage you to listen to episode #102 .

Jane Hamon's book: Discernment was a game changer for me, and I have been wanting to interview her ever since her book came out.

Growing up, I was called a "discerning child" but I didn't know what that meant. The book "Discernment" is a game changer for every believer to walk in the fullness of God's Kingdom here on earth. Jane says: "We are living in such critical times today that it is imperative for believers to learn to use every tool given to us by the Holy Spirit. We are called to be kingdom influencers--to discern the times in which we live, to discern the moves of the Holy Spirit, and to discern angels and demons."

The prophetic movement has been experiencing some obvious struggles lately. This is bringing a re-alignment with and within the prophetic movement at this time. Habakkuk 2 gives us a little glimpse into what exactly the "prophet" and prophetic voices are supposed to do. We often hear about writing the vision and making it plain, but what about the verse before and after that? Habakkuk explains we are to wait upon the Lord, watch, and see what He is doing. Amie and I also dive into how this "waiting, watching and seeing" is all about understanding the Chronos time vs the Kairos time of God. The ancient Greeks had two words for time: chronos and kairos. The former refers to chronological or sequential time, while the latter signifies a proper or opportune time for action.

Habakkuk asked the same questions that many of us have asked God today. His story provides great insight into how we can choose joy even when things look bleak. God desires us to have new eyes, ears and hinds' feet. God desires for us to walk with Him in freedom and joy, even if the world is falling apart around us. Habbakuk's praise was not contingent on circumstances, no matter how dismal they appear to be. … "yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation." Habakkuk rested his faith in God's character and not the state of the world around him. He responded with triumph, gladness and fear.
