A line has been drawn, which side are you on? In this episode, we discuss how God has not called us to be "political people" but rather "spiritual people." We must choose if we are going to look to man or God. Are we willing to set aside our likes and dislikes and looking through our own lenses for the lens of the Bible? God requires us to LOVE one another. Love does not demand silence or complete agreement. Love requires forgiveness and acceptance. Love requires truth and respect. Love is putting others first. Love is dying to self and choosing to turn to God and trust Him in everything.

Every year, I ask the Lord what He wants to speak about the year to come for the Body of Christ and also for me personally. The word that I am going to share today is what He gave me for the Church at large.

As I was praying and seeking God's heart about what He wanted to say about 2021. I have to admit it was tough to tune-in and hear. There is a lot of chatter and noise in the spiritual realm right now. More than most years, but I know God's heart is to encourage and shine a light into the darkness. I know His character and nature is to give HOPE for the future. God is always speaking. We must press in – silence the noise – still the chaos and quietly listen for Him to speak.

The word He gave me to release to the Church – His Ekklesia – His Bride. It is exciting. It's Hope-filled It's encouraging, and it is also a reprimand with a warning. Truthfully, I've not had one quite like this. First, He gave me a word of warning/caution and then He followed it up with a word of hope and encouragement.

I love to read a good fiction book, but I have never had the opportunity to interview a fiction author on my podcast. This book is not written as a preachy gospel message, but it does indeed have a strong spiritual message throughout. It is the perfect book to purchase for the pre-believer or believer.
