Dark Corners

This Christmas Eve vignette takes a dark twist from the familiar poem by Clement C. Moore. Narration by the author, David Allen Voyles, with music by dark ambient musician Mombi Yuleman.

When Jackie sneaks into his parents closet to find out what his Christmas presents are, he is disgusted to find that one mysterious gift called The Nightmare Box is empty. Or so he thinks. That night he dreams of a terrifying performance by a demonic magician that he'll never forget. If he survives it. Dark ambient music by Mombie Yuleman takes this spooky story to another level of horror. WARNING: This episode contains graphic descriptions of violence and gore.

Fans of The Twilight Zone will definitely enjoy this second episode in the Dark Corners Dark Holidays mini-season which includes two short tales. "A Christmas Wish" is a piece of flash-fiction that reminds us that while some holiday wishes can come true, that's not always a good thing. In the second story, "A Promise Kept," two spinster sisters experience a Christmas Eve that they will never forget.

Once again, dark ambient musician Mombi Yuleman created the wonderfully spooky music for both of these tales written and narrated by David Allen Voyles.
