“I had never, in all my experience, seen anyone describe an event in the almost cavalier manner that Dr. MacDonald described it.”
In the early morning hours of February 17, 1970, military police responded to an emergency call at the MacDonald family house at Fort Bragg. There they discovered the beaten and stabbed bodies of Colette MacDonald, the two daughters, Kimberly (5) and Kristen (2). They would also find one survivor, husband and father, Jeffrey MacDonald.
