Dark Side Divas - A Star Wars Podcast

THE DIVAS HAVE RETURNED!

After surviving a lot of technical issues, the divas can finally return and discuss a episode we kinda wish was our last episode of The Bad Batch. In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss "Pabu" (s2e13). Clone Force 99 is still not returning Cid's phone calls, and Phee wants to take them to a safe location. What we didn't expect is that The Bad Batch will be taken to paradise. What do the divas think about this Star Wars episode? Listen and find out!

Y'all....we did our best. We tried to record an episode about The Bad Batch, and every bad technical thing happened during our recording. It was the worst. In our entire 5 years we have never had so many recording blunders. So we decided that we are going to give it another try when we record again. Our deepest apologies! For this week's episode of Dark Side Divas we go back to our Clone Wars days, and go back to a time where Stef almost destroyed Chris with laughter. Specifically this is when we talk about The Star Wars - The Clone Wars episodes "The Box" (s4e17) and "Crisis on Naboo" (s4e18). We go back to a simpler time where Obi-Wan Kenobi fakes his own death, traumatizes Anakin Skywalker, gets plastic surgery to assume the identify of a bounty hunter, and go undercover while hanging out with Cad Bane. All of this while being inside Count Dooku's box. Good times! If you haven't listened to this episode before, check it out!

When Star Wars gets serious, it gets very serious. In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode "The Outpost" (s2e12). We check-in with our bestie Crosshair, who is having a "wonderful" time on Coruscant. He goes on a mission to a far off remote planet where we met a new hot clone, and Crosshair actually opens up to him. This episode has some strong themes around veterans being forgotten, and Stef and Chris get right into it. Listen to hear what they have to say!

The Empire loses a ship and our boys decide to track it down. Why does this feel like a horror movie? In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode "Metamorphosis" (s2e11). Clone Force 99 is informed by Cid that there's a crashed ship that they can easily recover cargo from, but is it always that easy when Cid asks you to do something? Meanwhile we met the worst villain in Star Wars history. What will the divas have to say about one of the most important episodes in animation history? Listen and find out!

Will The Bad Batch get their home back?! In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode "Retrieval" (s2e10). In a episode that is often labeled as a filler episode, Stef and Chris explain why it is not, and why this strange mad max like story is very important to the overall meta plot. Meanwhile we pop off about George Lucas and his opinion on AI. Listen to hear what the divas have to say!

Ready to be personally attacked? It turns out Star Wars is very good at that.

In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode "The Crossing" (s2e9). Omega misses Echo, and the boys are fighting. They are on a mission to find a bunch of exploding rocks for Cid, but the story becomes a personal attack on Stef and Chris over and over again. What will they say about this episode? Listen and find out!

Sometimes the truth isn't enough. After Stef invents a word to criticize Chris's perfectly cromulent content creation methods, we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode "Truth and Consequences" (s2e8). Rex calls The Bad Batch for help with finding proof that Admiral Rampart blew up Kamino. Will they be able to help Senator Chuchi and prevent the senate from creating a new army, while also force retiring the Clones? Who in this episode seems to always be one step ahead. Listen and find out what Stef and Chris have to say!

Will the good times continue with the Bad Batch show? NO! In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode "The Clone Conspiracy" (s2e7). We return to Coruscant where we see some Clones are discussing what happened on Kamino, and it's clear someone in the empire wants that conversation to stop. We see the return of Senate politics while the shadow of facism continues to rise. Nothing like a great sci-fi story to show us a mirror about what is going on with our world. What do the divas think of this episode? Listen and find out!

The Bad Batch head to a weird spaceport run by the droid mafia to deliver imperial fake IDs, and then Omega discovers that someone needs help. Nothing goes according to plan for our favorite clones. In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode Tribe (s2e6). We see the return of a character we haven't seen since The Clone Wars, and we return to a familiar planet. What head canon is invented to explain why The Empire decided to burn down a wookie village? Also why does this show best demonstrate the dynamic between Echo and Hunter? Listen and find out!

Clone force 99 is going on a dungeon dive, and things turn out about the same as any other heroes. In this episode of dark side divas we discuss The Star Wars - The Bad batch episode "Entombed" (ss2e50. The Bad Batch is going on a treasure hunt but things don't turn out the way it seems. What do the divas have to say about this episode? Listen and find out!
