This week we dove deep and mixed the spacey, ethereal Radiohead album The Bends with one of Disney's most iconic films, The Little Mermaid. This July 4th, we sit down with Adam Wynn and pledge allegiance to The Cage. 

We couldn't think of a better way to mark the occasion than to watch a film which shares its superlative title with its star. National Treasure starring (national treasure) Nicolas Cage...and Doug from the Hangover. At Adam's spot on request we sync up this...film...with Green Day's album American Idiot!

After watching, we spend the better part of an hour trying to undertand what we just experienced. Join us!

This week we convinced the wonderful Maeve Devitt to sit down with us and watch her FAVORITE MOVIE: Paddington 2. We figured what better way to tribute the namesake of this podcast than by syncing it up with Dark Side of the Moon! 

This delightful little bear-comedy is as sweet as marmalade. It stands to reason a thick spread of Pink Floyd could only make it better. We also get to chatting about true crime, identity theft, and fried chicken!

This week we take look at Disney's first child to be born under the "A Star Wars Story" sign. Although it's often compared to Vietnam War films, we felt there was one big thing missing to complete that interpretation.

NOT ENOUGH "FORTUNATE SON" IN THE SOUNDTRACK. Also not enough helicopters. But we did what we could.

So we muted the movie and played Credence Clearwater Revival: Chronicle Vol 1 for the film's entirety.

This week we take a break from the album synching and host our first Movie Club episode! Once a month we get together to watch and discuss a movie we've never seen before. We continue on our movie synching journey with the Disney classic - Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (1937). For our soundtrack, we trade in "Whistle While You Work" for "Brighton Rock" as we spin Queen's Sheer Heart Attack (1974) for a couple rounds. Have we struck gold already?

We, being of sound state-of-mind, have decided to dedicate a large portion of our lives to finding the perfect movie/album sync. This is our first step.
