Today we find ourselves stateside during the WW2 era in 1940s Illinois, more specifically the small isolated town of Mattoon , a flatland settlement founded and built on a prairie nearly 100 years earlier in the 1830’s a small quaint settlement with tall timber trees surrounding it on all sides , an unexpected setting for an otherworldly series of events that would befall the small town. Still unsolved nearly 90 years later , a tale of mystery, conspiracy, and hysteria. Today we learn the story of the Mad Gasser of Mattoon.

High society lies in comfort in finer parts of the city while the working class fights to earn their keep. A place that famed author Charles Dickens described as being "It was the best of times, and it was the worst of times," . Inside of this dark & divided city a mysterious tale would emerge, one that would live in infamy for nearly a century on , a tale of a humanoid being began to emerge unknown wether man , monster , or machine this figure would haunt the dark and dank streets of London for decades , the first true supervillain of the time a ghostly character with otherworldly abilities.

Interestingly enough not only are the Himalayas home to awe inspiring terrain and magic , they would somehow seem to be the home of a mythical creature as well . A creature whose stories and legends have preceded him for centuries through the tales of the locals of the region.
