This week, we take a beat to talk through some Tumblr terms and the finer points of navigating the website. Whether you're brand new to the hellsite, diving back in after years away, or just a user who feels as passionately about terms like OTP and Glupp Shitto as we do. It's time to go back to Tumblr University! Follow us on Tumblr at dashboarddiaries.tumblr.com to see the posts we talk about on this episode or email us at [email protected]!

We tackle a second - and shortest running - part of Superwholock: Sherlock. Lauren walks us through the rise and fall of the fandom for the TV show BBC Sherlock, explains the broad strokes of The Johnlock Conspiracy (TJLC), and admits the bonkers internet rumor she wanted to believe. Meanwhile, Cher is losing sleep over For All Mankind. Episode may induce flashbacks to the mid-2010s, spontaneous shipping of old ships, and deeply analysis of wallpaper. Twice a month, join longtime Tumblr user Lauren Shippen and longtime user-slash-Tumblr-employee Cher McAnelly as they dive deep into our favorite fandom site. We talk trending topics, share our new ships, and forecast upcoming fandoms. If you’ve ever gone feral over a fic or bonkers about one of your blorbos, this podcast is for you! And remember: the password to the secret clubhouse is “shoelaces”.

This podcast is not produced by, nor officially affiliated with Tumblr in any way, beyond the fact that we told them about it and they said "rad!" and high fived us before skating away on their wheelies. We love you, Tumblr.
