DATS Life

Hello and welcome to DATS Lite, Series 2! In this series we are talking British Sitcoms and voting for who we think should be crowned the DATS Life Best British Sitcom.

We kick off the new series by taking our shortlist of 12 sitcoms and putting them into groups in the style of a World Cup Draw! Every subsequent episode will feature a different trio of sitcoms for Dave and Tom to discuss and, after much debate, put through the winning sitcom to the Grand Final! ...and no I am not over selling this. Probably.

So sit back, grab a drink and push that play button, and let the usual chaos ensue.

Also, in a world first - this episode of DATS LIFE has been edited entirely by Dave. So expect strange things going on with the sound!

Welcome back to DATS Life, with Dave and Tom.

And welcome (for the first time) to The Timilogy!

We had special guest Tim, aka Timpanzee, aka the reigning Back of the Grid Prediction League Champion, on the show and it was so good we decided to turn it into a trilogy of podcasts. That's right, a trilogy... with Tim... which obviously makes its a Timilogy. Obviously.

In the first of three episodes, we talk to Tim about his upcoming debut album - Ain't The Same. Please note, the release date has now been postponed, but check out the Twitter page to keep up to date: https://twitter.com/Timpanzeeyt

We also talk Australian food and culture, along with all things music as Tim gives us an exclusive live performance of one of the songs from the new album.

And the best part of all, this is only the beginning. Be sure to check out parts 2 and 3, coming soon!

The now traditional DATS Sports 4U2U F1 preview show...released in July???

This review has been several months in the making. We recorded the first part back in March before the original season opener in Australia. I apologise for the poor audio levels in this preview, there was a big issue in post production - Dave did the editing!!

It happened. Finally, after 5 long years it actually happened! DATS Life podcast were invited on to BBC Radio.

This is the story of 2 young innocent boys who started with nothing but a distant dream, rose up through the crowds with hard work and their bare hands, striving day in and day out... okay, slight exaggeration. Dave and Tom sent their podcast to BBC Upload. Find out what happened next, right here!

Plus, Dave and Tom discuss new podcasting friends Tabletop Talks, a newly formed podcast all about board games. You can listen to every show of theirs here: https://shows.acast.com/tabletop-talks/ and keep up to date with news shows by following them on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/CooperativeCar2

And to conclude this very unique episode, everyone's new favourite segment... Poetry Corner!
