A bi-partisan delegation of U-S lawmakers are in Tel Aviv - a week after Hamas attacked southern Israel - and as Israeli Defense Forces prepare for an assault on Hamas in Gaza. The Senators met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and defense officials to discuss US support for Israel. At a press conference today Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said the Senate will move first to approve aid to Israel - in a bid to break the House's impasse on selecting a new Speaker.
