Target Corp. announced it would close nine of its stores across four states next month, saying that organized retail theft had threatened the safety of its employees and customers. It's a problem everywhere -- last night Target didn't get hit but other stores did. Dave and Debbie discuss the issue of looting. 

Adults at a board meeting for the Jordan School District meeting spoke out against a transgender girl using the girl's bathroom at the elementary school she attends. The child goes to school in the Jordan District and also spoke at the same board meeting last night. Dave and Debbie share both sides of the discussion and speak with KSL Legal Analyst Greg Skordas about the Title IX federal law banning sex discrimination and harassment related to gender identity. 

We're about to go over a childcare cliff...federal money to financially support daycare centers that suffered a major setback during the pandemic will lose billions this Saturday. Parents already paying $1,000 a month can look for the tuition tab to go higher -- $1,000 a month. Dave and Debbie discuss this with Lois Collins with the Deseret News.
