Utah was ranked as the best state overall by the US News & World Report this year. Our economic outlook is great, but when it comes to taxes... we're paying much more than the national average. The Utah Taxpayers Association has released their annual ‘How Utah Compares’ report, which compares the percentage of personal income spent on taxes and fees in all 50 states. 25 republican governors, including Governor Spencer Cox, wrote a letter to President Biden, calling him to provide more detailed information on migrants at the border. It's not surprising that all 25 governors who signed the letter to President Biden are Republican... but one of the nation's staunch Democratic governors is also leaning on President Biden to get going: New York Governor Kathy Hochul.
