This morning the NWS canceled the last remaining advisory and warning for flooding (for the Sevier River at Hatch and Bear River at Woodruff). This marks the end of a  40 day stretch of continuous watches/warnings/advisories from the National Weather Service. Kevin Eubank, KSL Meteorologist joins the show to discuss what this means.

A 12-year-old girl was pulled from Tooele reservoir during a 'frantic' rescue as good fortune police happened to be checking Settlement Canyon at the time when this happened. Two officers who were conducting "flood watch" at a popular Tooele reservoir were able to rescue a 12-year-old girl who was trapped in a car that plummeted into the water Saturday afternoon by using their police-issued gun to shoot out a window and pull her out, police say. Corporal Colbey Bentley with the Tooele Police Department joins the show with an update on the 12-year-old and more details of what happened.

Male suspect with a gun, a protective order violation response, OPD officer shot and in stable condition, described as chaotic...it happened in a parking lot area, at apartments near a technical college. It began when OPD officers were called to an area near apartments and a tech college for a protective order violation-- and ended in a very public shootout --- which may have some asking what's the point of having a piece of paper/PO.
