KSL TV's legendary News Anchor Dick Nourse has passed away today at the age of 83. He retired from local news in November 2007 and spent 43 years at KSL, making him the longest-tenured anchor at the news station. Debbie and Taylor are joined by Movie Show Host Doug Wright to reflect on the legendary history of his career and life.

The Utah Legislature has spoken… During the very short Special Session, they approved Governor Cox’s resolution to extend the state of emergency. They also voted to allocate $40 million to pay for excess snow removal costs and other flooding emergencies. Alzheimer’s is a disease that is commonly found in a lot of people. According to an NBC News headline from January, the FDA approved a new Alzheimer’s drug that appears to slow progression of the disease. However, questions have been raised about the safety and cost of the drug, and it is not getting into the hands of Medicare and Medicaid. Jeremy Cunningham, Public Policy Director for the Alzheimer’s Association, joins the show in studio to discuss why this is more than just red tape.

The city of St. George appears to have a new policy… Citizens now have to submit any comments, questions, or concerns that they have about ordinances or discussions that the City Council is having in writing… instead of showing up in person and expressing them through a microphone. Recently there has been increased attention paid to the numbers of undocumented migrants coming across the border. But something not a lot of people are talking about? “Who” is among them? It’s been confirmed that six people on the FBI’s Terror Watch List were scooped up over the course of last weekend… bringing the total of those on the list captured at the border in 2023 to 88 so far.
